VIP Packages (North America)

So as many of you know, for the North American shows they are offering VIP packages. (The Toronto show just went on sale and if you want to meet the band it will cost $575! It also gives you some merchandise and a seat in 3rd or 4th row)

Here is the thing - For me the "premium" seat isn't the one in the "seats." For me it's being up at the stage - at the barrier so to speak. So it doesn't make sense for fans who want to be up front.

So IF by chance I had wanted to pay (and I won't) $575 for a VIP Package, I would have to buy a general admission ticket as well - for those arenas with a general admission area of course.

Someone didn't think this through very good - if the "real" fans are willing to pay that crazy amount of money to meet the band, shouldn't they get a choice of where they would like to be sitting?

In 2010 for the VIP tickets (which was $250) you had the choice of getting a ticket for general admission OR a very good seat.

Sorry, not really complaining - just thinking that there are lots of unfair stuff going on and everytime a new ticket sale goes on - I feel like I'm getting kicked in the teeth.

It's big money from everyone. Since this is their last time in North America the promoter, management and venues are going to charge what ever they can.

If it's the same type of meet & greet like it was in 2010...people are going to be really angry.

For $575 (that's the Toronto price - higher than Los Angeles!) I sure hope folks can sit and talk with them for a few minutes at least.

In Toronto there is general admission ticket in the front.. If you buy trhose VIP you are in Level 200.... that suck..
really bad that If you pay 575$ you are not front row...
i'm almost sure the price is twice that what we paid in 2010 because there was a lot of people at the VIP and now they will get a lot of money if it work great..
every ''meet and greet' with I love all access (VIP Nation) there is never autograph and surely no time to talk with the band..

Yeah I got a pit ticket for Toronto, $88 and as long as I get there early I can get up front without paying the huge prices.

Sure I would love to meet them again, but to charge these prices is almost criminal for us fans.

yeah, but i would really like to be front row at their last show in Montreal :S
i sent a email to them to ask if the meet and greet will be like 2 years ago and they answered this:
Hi Gilles,
VIP Nation is not handling the Scorpions tour this year.

Maybe they don't know cause it's not officially on their VIP page?

I don,t want to disappoint you but i doubt about it... their meet and greet is a picture.. and i don't call it a meet and greet. i hope i'm wrong since it will cost 500..

that's something management would understand
