after over an hour the closest I could get on this presale was Sec. 3 row 18.... NOT good enough. So let's see how it goes on the 9th.

Okay, just a question--who are they hoping will sit in the front rows, if not the dedicated fans who have followed their careers for many years? *sigh* just wondering...seems like most people posting here are trying their hardest to get good tickets and they're either too expensive or you need a certain password and aren't sure where to get it. Our local "rock" station hasn't even posted the dates, so I'm afraid to miss the opening date for tickets. I can't imagine sitting anywhere else but front row for the final show. That meet and greet that I paid good money for left me in fifth row..boo!

The show before that--I had excellent seats in the front row that I paid big money for, and everyone rushed in, and I had to protect my son from getting squished. Security (or lack thereof) was horrible.

Why is this information so hard to get? Or am I just missing something?

I agree with you 100%. I find myself checked multiple times every day for tickets coming on sale so I can plan ahead.

Between that and the very little chance of getting up close to the stage without paying the crazy prices makes this very discouraging.

But I won't give up. Never give up!

I think that's the whole point. Those of us who truly love the band will keep trying. Maybe it's me, but I'm thinking it should somehow be made more accessible for us? I know. Back to the real world...but still....

Well it would be nice that the fans who come here with their love and appreciation for the band could get special consideration - like a presale password or something of the sort. But when I saw the original links to a ticket broker to buy concert tickets, I didn't expect anything.

I've accepted the fact about how much they are charging (I still don't agree) for the VIP stuff, but it would be nice if we could have a code given to us for a discount or something.

Well yeah but that's kind of the point, with such an army no one would be happy if they did give out codes - besides back then the internet wasn't where you bought tickets. You sat at the ticket office overnight if you had to be first in line. I know I did - never for Kiss but for other bands.
