I've been a fan of The Scorpions for over 30 years and seen them many times. In 2009 they announced that the band is embarking a three-year world tour. So far this hasn't included any UK dates. Anyone any idea if they will be coming to the UK? I really want to take my son to see them, to experience just what a great live band the Scorpions are. I check the tourdates page everyday but still nothing.

I have started a Facebook group to show the Scorpions that their UK fans want to see them again. Please Like and share my group and together we can hopefully get the band over to the UK.

Hello and welcome in the forum!

I think it's very sad that they don't make any date in UK. It would be one of the few tours of their history without playing over there....Since they announced their retirement I had planned to go to see them over there ... but it seems that it won't happen.
I don't know exactely why and didn't heard any "rumours" about them playing in UK so far ... but my answer would be: because of money! If the promotors in UK gave them so much money like in France to play there, don't doubt that they would have already done many dates... Sadly, the money rules everything the band is doing lately

I hope that this will change and that they will tour over there because UK really deserves to see them playing...

I was at the Knebworth show as well. What a day that was. Leave home at 6am to get into Manchester for the coach. Driver got lost on the way their so missed some of the bands, not happy at that. Stood in the rain, ankle deep in beer cans and mud. Long, long walk to find the coach which had been moved from where it dropped us off. Got back home early morning the next day.

Shame the lure of money is more important than giving the fans the chance to see them one final time. Come on guys get over to the UK we all really want to see you again.

I have a good friend over in the UK and she is very upset about no dates....I am just hoping that they respect you all as much as they do France and give you several dates next year. SCREW THE DAMN MONEY BOYS!!

Who is that is not upset??? They are losing die hard fans..but now money are more important....nowadays they should sing in french language....
