A Short Review
I'm very desapointed !!!
And angry !

Classical Show ... Only Uli for One song.... james "out off order" .....Michael Not here like announced. Herman and Rudi L played only with Uli, Uli played 5 songs ......
I haven't the words in english to explain how I feel.
BTW Klaus gave me his plec , for my birthday it was a nice present

So, about the setlist, just "we'll burn"with Uli more
Uli setlist : 2Hendrick, catch your Train, I got to be free, polar night, the sail with Herman and in Trance with Rudi L
The
Uli performance was really awesome, Pierot Leporale sang very well. But less than one hour it is more than short! It is a scandal !!!!!!!!!!!

UNBELIEVABLE !!!! SCORPIONS AS OPENING ACT FOR ULI JON ROTH !!!!!

Nancy on the rocks !!! This festival looked as the ONE for any Scorpions fans in the world this year.

I read several times my ticket, the advertising and it's still written SCORPIONS + GUESTS and not ULI with GUESTS.

Many fans came from all parts of France, Italy, Switzrland, Germany, Singapour to see Scorpions with the old members like in Wacken in 2006 or on the 2007 french tour. And guess what ? Mickaël Schenker was not there, they decided to play before ULI who had only the time to play seven songs before the security told him : "Hey it's the last song we want to go to bed".
He was invited on We'll burn the sky ( a song they ever played without him on this tour of course, easier) so the show looks like a reunion show.

They are professionnals so they have to do their job. If you announce a reunion show you must do it even you have different opinion with an old member or receive the order not to play with them.

To conclude, Scorps show was the same as any other show since 3 years. When you listen Uli playing Pictured Life, Catch your train, I've got to be free, the sails of Charon, In Trance and Polar night you can think fortunatly for them Scorpions played before. The Uli show was so amazing that you are more disappointed because he didn't play these song with Scorpions.


THANKS A LOT Mr AMEND, since you are here you have more place for the money in your pockets because we do not find any more the respect for the fans there. Your commercial project worked so well. We just have to hope that the real last tour will start soon

You know I come for the guys, so... they made a good show ( by the way, Mr Klaus sang perfectly).. but I can also perfectly understand the people who made a big trip to see the so waited family reunion... Actually I feel like, I should have been to Nice or somewhere else it would have been the same... 2100 km alone by car, how to not be a little frustrated

1-Where was Michael Schenker and why he wasn't there?
2-Why Scorpions played not as "final band"?
3-Why just only Uli played just only 1 song with the Scorpions?
4-as Ludo said.....is it possible that security decide when a band must stop a concert.....cause it's "too late and they want to go sleep".......scandalous!!!!!!!

about the first 3 points......i don't know if it's promoter fault or Amend/Scorpions fault......and i think we will never know........but i must tell that what happened yesterday it's unfair for the fans and people that paid money to see a kind of concert, and then once there, they found out a totally different festival.........

-meeting with Fosers from all over the europe, thank you to everyone was there, it's been great to see u and to rock togheter there!!!!
-about Fosers, it's been funny when during the concert Klaus recognized the fosers in the first row (i was in third and he didn't see me)......and when Klaus said, ..."from france,germany,etc etc.....(missing Italy)" some Fosers, i think Ludo and Delphine scremaed to Klaus......"Adrian from italy" but i think he didn't understand cause he saw me just to the end of wind of change
-Uli's band concert.....amazing, it's was so exiting to listen 70's scorpions songs,!!!
-Klaus.....once again......thank you!!!!!
before the last 3 songs he cahnegd his jacket , and i was surprised to see on his left a patch with an italian flag.........and as i wrote before, just at the end of wind of change he recoginzed me........i indicated to him italian falg on his jacket......he kissed it and greet to me.....it was....really touching........
.....funny that fans around me .....were surprised to understand who Klaus were pointing

I espected this to be the REAL DEAL of the band, a great reunion with Herman, Rudy, Michael and Uli and plenty of 70's and early 80's rarely played tunes... and it was the same old show with Uli present only in We'll Burn The Sky, no Schenker, and a short set for Uli... I really would have loved to be there, but hearing the reviews I'm more than happy to be at home, I'm sorry for the FOSers who (like me) expected probably to attend the best show of these last years and ended up with nothing more than the "standard concert" and a "cutted" performance of Uli.

My always peaceful, and positive friends: if something could make you as so angry as you are, it is really a serious deal, and yep, I must say, it is indeed.
I totally understand your frustration, and am sad for you all.

I am so shocked, and sorry for Uli, and band also due the security-incident.
How does a security-team take the courage to say Uli to stop? :

Lille 1600 km + hotel ( concert cancel)+ Nancy I willn't have appreciated at all !

im sorry for all the fans! I'm glad you were able to hear the Scorpions 70s songs though. ironically, they were not there on stage playing them, they were only few meters away! a disappointment, I understand...had I been making this trip from Beirut to Nancy, I wouldnt have appreciated the surprise...

i think the main responsability about what and why happened it's a fault of the promoters/organizers.
i don't want to defend the band, but i think the guys just go on stage and they thier job..........maybe (surely) the one who take agreements is Amend.......

problem now is the name Scorpions that it's under a bad "light".......and they risk to ruin in few months what they built in the last 40 and plus years.......
