Now this is where I disagree Marina. Where do MOST OF YOU get the notion that Francis stole 10 million? Most of you were not even around when this went down in 1992. The way we fans remember it then was a change in management, Francis was doing the bulk of the management work while the other 4 were out partying. Suddenly they fire CCC and bring in Doc McGhee and they decide to clean house of management and tax-people. It was Doc and probably Amend who came up with these discrepancies of the past staff. So in reality it was still the past management that screwed up, not Francis. But of course while the other 4 are having a good time, who gets the blame but the guy working with the management. If anything they should blame Doc McGhee as he probably got his dirty hands in on it, darn the guy had gotten busted twice for drug trafficking from Columbia. So lets see, a known drug dealer and Amend, and yea, so Francis is the guy that stole 10 million. Right.

Look, I love the band and it's their right to like or dislike a certain person. But you also have to look at who is the one that made these accusations. Amend did.

full energy and ready to sting......and see some surprises...
the band started like an oiled machine very powerfull and with typical movements but predictable....anyway we enjoyed every second. On Pawel side it was enjoying every minute he came into the crowd playing games and hit the baseguitar like an animal...rockkkkkkk.Rudolf didn't made a marathon on stage..but enjoyed his guitars again...he's realy in love with them suddenly the band wanted us to share the beautifull full moon...i thought they inspired for a surprise song.....no way.... Matthias rocked in front and fooled around..Klaus tried to get the public on his hand however i had a strange feeling it was a not so heavy rocking public for 'the final' with surprises...James was maybe not so heavy he certainly was a bit lack of energy and knowing James it's strange !!! He had a girl who took him with her after the show !! Correction : someone with a red shirt ran very fast from the backstage to help over in the front....but certainly not to HELP only James...If you watch the vids you can see he's not top ! i think instead of YOU KICK ASS it was him So far the rollercoaster setlist but ULI gaves us the ultimate we'll burn the sky.... i had certainly no Strasbourg feeling like years ago and....wait wait wait....nothing else to come even the final songs were just DONE....this is it...oh noooo what's going on....over and out. The band left but they didn't handle any situation....we had to yellll normaly damned i was so dissapointed can't describe.
Only one thing : ULI had to come with his band and he plays like a GOD.....
Soundcheck and of we go again but this time ANTONIS joined us yeahhhhhhhh what a SUPRISE
could enjoy the :catch your train and i've got to be free....pure class act !!! and here we go with Herman .....only one song sails of a charon wonderfull sound....rocking all over...and Mr Rudy Lenners need to come..but i saw some timechrone very weird....come on now Lenners presented with Polar nights exclusive...yeahhh way to go we all rocked and rolled who hoooo but however Uli said they had to stop cause the security want to ...hell what's this.....cheers sante...bang over and out....
we just tried to find our friends and really need to talk about that feeling to COOL DOWN , final pics and drinks ....hard feelings to say goodbye with the spirit that the best is yet to come....fingers crossed but i doubt... i just hoped to see long tall sally...Michael and others to hits us....the road is empty the heart was bleeding....only the friendship kept us alive...Adrian and crew yeahhhhhh (thanks to join us you all rocked respect driving so far...) for me it is a kinda naivity to believe it, but finally it's really not my business.
If I am "just" exhausted, and ill, not drunk, I don't think that I am in Russia.

In sorry if many fans cant believe what réaly happen in NANCY. Im à fan of scorpions from so long time. I saw her first time before the 80 s . I cant remember all the show...some years. 6 7 more. Three years ago i saw her playing 3 hours show. Changing set list....but with this part of tour Bégin this year there is something wrong....wrong like comebkack album....wrong like the the short n same set list....wrong with the communication with her fan....i hope all will be good........i want imagin the Band dont see what happen ? Why so many show in France....im franchement France but really no interrest. ? Why no spain Italie england or everywhere else ? An old rock Band have always good fans...... Normally, I don't react on a forum of a band I don't really follow, but this discussion caught my attention.
It's 'normal' that a band tries to play as much as possible to reach as much fans as possible, on the other hand, a farewell tour has to stop at one point...
I saw Michael Schenker, Herman and Francis in their 'Temple of Rock' project recently and I have to disagree with Marina (btw, why do you YELL all the time, it's very rude and difficult to read ) The last couple of years, Michael does not do 'whatever he wants'. He delivers a very good show, time after time. I more or less understand what Herman wanted to say with this tour going on for another five years. It's like the band's retirement plan ... Having seen both Michael (beginning of May) and Scorpions (Antwerp) from very close (front row both occasions), I have to say that the atmosphere was much better with Michael than with Scorps. Everyone (Michael, Francis, Herman,...) was smiling all the time, you could see that they were enjoying playing their music. The interaction with the people in the audience was also more spontaneous. With Scorpions, I had the impression the autopilot stepped in more than once... I remember at one point I said to myself: it's time they stop touring, they're getting too old for this...

I don't think they are too old, they can still manage it... but, as many said in the past, maybe a pause to regenerate themselves, to plan a new show rehearsing tracks hardly played and to plan a real (and organised) world tour could have been a better choice, this situation seems so much improvised...

About James and the "girl" I prefer stop any rumour. It happened 2meter from me, sorry it wasn't Stephanie, but .... At the end of the show James sat (like he can) to the edge of the catwalk, the security guys were not very closed and a girl faint in front of James. He removed her how he can from the crowd and then left together. But to be honnest I don't know who hold who ... Both had problem to walk ...

About Francis, I don't think he is the evil that some people wants to make believe us ... I was in Zurich one month ago and it was a pleasure to see him. We can seen the passion and the happiness in his eyes when he played. What Scorps seems have lost these times.

I agree with you Delphine,the lost of passion for music,brings the autopilot(normal after having a 3 years tour at the same places with the same show) that nicci mentioned...and that's why i think it's time for the band to stop.They have no will to rehearse new songs,to change the set list,to rexplore themselves.
Not because they are too old (they are in a perfect shape),but they lost the flame...unfortunatly.
The farewell tour should be an occasion for the band to tour with ALL the ex members and a good manager should bild bridges where there are differences,should book a proper tour,everywhere...and not this.
On the other side,i agree with the others,Michael,Francis and Herman had this fire in their eyes and in their performance,i saw the 'temple of rock' show 3 time and ,they were amazing,everytime!..
The same fire had Uli when he -played with his band and he was unhuppy that he had to stop!As it is mentioned above,Uli didn't seem to enjoy the song he played with the band,it is my impression as well...but of course,maybe i'm wrong!
I hope that after the end of this tour,Rudy,Klaus and Matthias will give us some unreleased stuff,some dvd's from historical concerts of the band and hopefully if they will find the inspiration and the will to release some solo albums!

I look at your avatar and my heart just swoons cuz I love that Klaus so much and to see them going is beyond heartbreaking. Klaus says that they wanted to quit while they are on top, but it seems that shortly after they announced their retirement, they already started sliding downhill. So many fans that I have read that have staunchly stood by as loyal hardcore fans, are now voicing such huge disappointment, you would think that Scorps would say HEY THESE FANS WHOM WE USED TO LOVE SO MUCH THAT WE WROTE SONGS ABOUT THEM, ARE LOSING THEIR ARDOR FOR US CUZ WE ARE PUTTING OUT SO MUCH LESS THAN EVER AND WE BETTER STOP THIS AND START PUTTING OUT THAT 110% WE USED TO!! Sadly however, it seems that by the time they end this tour, they will be at the bottom and not the top. How terribly terribly devastating.
