"Il faut que tous les fans française de Scorpions sachent ce qu'il s'est réellement passé : Lorsque je suis arrivé à Nancy, j'ai appris de la bouche de Joëlle Kilhofer (Music For Ever) que le groupe (Rudolf, Klaus et Matthias) ne souhaitait pas jouer avec Michael Schenker et moi. La raison invoquée était que les Scorpions n'ont pas apprécié que nous partions en tournée avec Francis Buchholz ! Incroyable ! Joelle nous avait déjà parlé de cette histoire quelques jours plus tôt, c'est d'ailleurs pour cela que Michael n'a pas fait le déplacement. La raison pour laquelle je suis venue est que j'avais promis à Joelle de jouer un morceau avec Uli Jon Roth, ce que j'ai fait (Sails of Charon).

Le groupe n'a pas fait preuve d'honnêteté envers ses fans, d'autant plus que cela fait maintenant plus de trois ans qu'ils font une tournée d'adieu. Leurs adieux vont durer encore cinq ans, et ils vont continuer de jouer les mêmes morceaux ! Je suis très embarrassé pour les fans que le groupe leur propose le même concert, encore et encore.

Tout cela est très puéril, ça me dépasse. J'espère que Michael, Francis et moi-même aurons l'occasion de revenir en France pour une prochaine tournée, avec un show différent et encore meilleure que ceux du mois de mai !

basically, Herman said that Rudy, Klaus and Matthias didn't want to play with Michael and Herman because they had Francis with them in their last tour, so Michael didn't come and Herman came to Nancy only because he promised to Joelle Killhofer to play something with Uli (Sails of Charon).

He said also that the band will probably pull this "final tour" for another 5 years, with the same setlist, and he feels sorry for the fan for this.

He said this is a childish behaviour and hopes to have the possibility to play in France with Francis and Michael during another tour, with a better show than the one they played in May.

I REALLY HOPE THESE WORDS WERE NOT FROM HERMAN... I CAN´T BELIEVE NOW HE´S DEFENDING POOR FRANCIS, AND MAKING BOICOT TO SCORPIONS "LAST" TOUR SAYING IT WILL LAST 5 MORE YEARS WITH SAME SONGS....

HE WAS THE ONE WHO LEFT THE BAND BY HIS OWN AND NOW HE MAKES ANOTHER BAND WITH MUSICIANS THAT HAVE PASSED TRHOUGH SCORPIONS, ONE OF THEM HIS ENEMY (IF I CAN USE THIS WORD) AND SCORPIONS ARE TO BLAME JUST BECAUSE THEY DO HAVE HONESTY!!!

I understand what your point is, and I agree with you in many points, I don't believe that Herman is a saint, neither is Francis... but the point here is another, the band knew that this show was presented as "Scorpions+Herman+Michael+Uli+Rudy, and many fans travelled from all over the Europe (and not only) to see this happen, and I should have been one of them (luckily I had some problems and couldn't go). If the band didn't want to (or couldn't) play with Herman, Michael or anyone else, they simply should have told it when the show was scheduled, the fan should have known what show they would have seen that day, some loyal fans spent lots of time and money to be there for that show, this is unprofessional and disrespectful for them.

Now this is where I disagree Marina. Where do MOST OF YOU get the notion that Francis stole 10 million? Most of you were not even around when this went down in 1992. The way we fans remember it then was a change in management, Francis was doing the bulk of the management work while the other 4 were out partying. Suddenly they fire CCC and bring in Doc McGhee and they decide to clean house of management and tax-people. It was Doc and probably Amend who came up with these discrepancies of the past staff. So in reality it was still the past management that screwed up, not Francis. But of course while the other 4 are having a good time, who gets the blame but the guy working with the management. If anything they should blame Doc McGhee as he probably got his dirty hands in on it, darn the guy had gotten busted twice for drug trafficking from Columbia. So lets see, a known drug dealer and Amend, and yea, so Francis is the guy that stole 10 million. Right.

Look, I love the band and it's their right to like or dislike a certain person. But you also have to look at who is the one that made these accusations. Amend did.

Marina, it's simple....Herman forgave Francis. And old friends CAN forgive and forget. He is not his new friend, he is an old friend who has recaptured their friendship. If the others cannot do the same, they have their reasons. But for them NOT to have Francis back on stage with them is..... I know MJ to be very forgiving, so who knows and really who cares? Some of this just gets OLD!

Absolutely, that is cuz they value their friendship. I was glad to see Herman at MJG cuz frankly after reading Herman's book, I wondered if they were still going to be friends. But see, MJ doesn't hold anything against Herman, so why hold anything against Francis? For all we know, it could be sthg so completely different from the money issue why they have a thing about Francis.

thank you...again uneducated Scorpions fans talking about things they have no idea what they are talking about. Only 5 people know the truth..klaus,rudy,matthias,herman and francis..and it was Amend who started the rumors about francis stealing money..shocker he was in position to manage the scorps as long as francis was gone..

So everyone should be mad at Peter Amend for starting the lies to benefit his career but ruined the Scorpions career.
