I'm a bit surprised they will play on the 4th of august. Usually they would be a candidate for the night to remember (thursday=2th of august). But maybe there will be another highlight.

Btw. only 20.000 tickets left (=about 40.000 already sold)

little info: I'm a bit confused, on this site here they say you can get your Wacken ticket at viagogo.com ??? What the hell is that? Viagogo is a reseller and Wacken, just like other organizers, don't like this kind of reselling. There you have to pay 200€ for the 3 day ticket.

So if you want a ticket for Wacken, go to www.metaltix.com (that's the official Wacken selling site), there it costs 150€

150-200 € it's rather expensive only for the ticket + ticket for the bus + visa. Maiby I don't understand what's it's looks like, but I think for the open air festival the price is too high! Where should I spend a night? did the price includes any hostel or camp?

The festival will be during 3 days and there will be a lot of various bands. So that's why the ticket price is high. This is just the ticket price. Everything else like hotel, food, transport is not included. But if you're really wanna go there I can offer you an Ukrainian company which does Wacken bus tours:

right, Vladimir, it's a 3 day festival with a lot of bands with all kind of metal and rock. And if you take a look at the Wacken site, there are not the worst bands (for example Edguy, Airbourne, Alice Cooper, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Ousbourne, Iron Maiden ... played there)

So 150€ is not that much. In the ticket price camping ground and parking for your car is included, but of course you need a tent. If you are planning to go there it would be better when you use one of these thousands of busses or the metaltrain - if you can catch it. It's not such a good idea to go there by car. Wacken is a small village in the middle of 'Schleswig Holstein, only a few streets lead to this village and during the festival there's always a horrible traffic jam.

Maybe I can make some of you jealous: I consider to go there by bicycle

Hans, if you go to Wacken website and read about Scorpions show you can see that it will be "A Night To Remember". This kind of show always means special (former) member(s) on stage with Scorps.
Also I read somewhere Rudolf's comments about Wacken show where he said that it will be a special night with surprises.
