NO Russia in TOURDATES?????

Guys!!!! What happened with the tourdates list??
Where is Russia?? I got tickets for the concert in Rostov.....

It seems to me that if this huge part of the tour was be cancelled, they would make a notice!
So it seems to me that it is only a technical mistake.

You would think that instead of leaving the fans wondering and worried, that something would have been posted to stop the panic. This lack of consideration disgusts me!

Do you remember how it looked like when the shows in Greece were cancelled? They WERE in the list, but in the note were blinking words "Cancelled". If all these shows was cancelled, it would be the same situation, or it would be a note about it on the front page! Because it is not the way to tell about the cancelled dates - just to remove them from the tourdates list.

Russian tour is suspended coz of promouters and organizers which often changed cities and dates. Till Scorps management won't be 100% sure that the last version of tour won't be changed again all the tour is suspended. But I don't think that tour will be cancelled, there r already tickets on sale and it's not the first time that the same organizers bring Scorps in Russia, I think they will find an agreement

Maybe it was a lack of ticket sales in Russia. The Scorps/Alice Cooper 2009 monsters of rock tour of russia was a flop. There were a ton of empty seats in all arenas on that mini tour. And with the history of Peter Amend(scorps manager) if he doesn't get his money he will cancel shows.

hey Scorps if russia won't support you then sign some more shows in North America..We will pack the arenas here with a good touring package!!!!

I agree. I have heard from a certain person who has experienced *** with Amend for himself, that jerk has ruined more *** for the boys in promo and other opportunities cuz it wasn't enuf money for him. He is a crooked greedy pariah.

Are you serious in saying that these shows are cancelled? Of course, it is a WAY to say about it like this - to delete all May from the list! People, LITHUANIAN TICKETS ARE NOT ON SALE YET, so it is NOT A REASON to cancell ALL RUSSIAN FAREWELL TOUR. Just read my post below AGAIN. And stop spreading the panic.

Yes, just like I said above. It's disgusting that all those Russian fans are kept wondering WTH is going on? All becuz a notice of some kind can't be posted? Wow! How responsible is that to the fans?

Well, they at least could make a notice like " the information these tour dates is being clarified at the moment. please be patient. We'll inform you as soon as everything is confirmed". And keeping us in ignorance is just depressing

PS У меня тоже билеты давно куплены, при чем на Питерский концерт они по прежнему продаются, поэтому-то я и пребываю в недоумении, почему с оф сайта все русские даты вдруг исчезли и по этому поводу нет никакой инфы...

No, Scott, first of all there r not in all cities tickets on sale yet, and second in the cities where the tickets r selling ppl buy them well. So, the reason isn't lack of sales

I'm sorry to disagree but a friend of mine in the music business from europe told me today that tickets were not selling well in Russia again for this tour just like the one in 2009. And it doesn't make sense for the Scorps to take all their equipment to Russia and play in front of half full arenas. They will lose millions of dollars and we all know what money means to the greedy Amend!!! So yes the reason is a lack of ticket sales!!

Plus the retirement statement in 2010 is over nobody cares about a farewell tour anymore. You can use that just once and for maybe one year and then after that the fans don't care. So you will see a drop in attendance for the 2011 tour. And that is why the Scorps are playing safe places this year. They will skip North America because our country gets thousands of shows a year and fans are only going to spend on certain shows and since the boys played here in 2010 the non die hard fans will skip the Scorps shows. It makes sense for them to wait until 2012 and come back for the final farewell year and maybe fans will come back. Because right now in 2011 the Scorps are Dead on Arrival here in our country. Nobody cares anymore except a few hundred of us diehard fans. So we have the MIGHTY PETER AMEND to thank for the lack of fan support in our country. You can not skip our country for 8 years and expect the casual fan to come back. They will move on to the next thing.

Also, I am curious about sthg, why is the band acting like they are all that, again? Like they are the resurrected Scorps of the 80's? They are RETIRING for heaven's sake!! And yet, they are acting like they are "riding the wave of 80's fame" again. Like Scott said, you can only ride that "wave" for a year before it's no longer a wave. Sorry, it's pretty much over. I would be surprised if they go very far into 2013.
And oh pleeeease don't attack me for voicing my opinion. Isn't that we are supposed to be able to do on here without getting constantly attacked?

I also heard that dates are removed until management agree final details with local promoters... and there can be plenty of reasons for disagreement... Agree with Scott about lack of sales and money problem...
