Brussels: 3 nights to remember....24th,25th,26th 2011
1st day: I left Capri on a full sunny day and I took the flight for Munich at 12:00 and,then, the connecting flight at 15:30. I landed in Brussels around 16:30.The first impression of the Brussels was "what a foggy city!"So I thought to myself " it seems to be in the London of end century!" Once I found the exit of the airport I took a taxi to the hotel paying,I repeat paying 48,10 euros! A real no armed robbery! (I hope the taxi driver spent these money to buy medicine to heal a long,long diarrhoea
) Just arrived I had a quickly shower in the room ("a real suite"
) then I finally met Adrian with Kirtana, we went together to eat some french fries and kebab at a greek restaurant and we came back to the hotel.
2nd day : I woke up around 9:30 and I met Adrian in the hall of the hotel and here we decided to make a tour of Brussels rigorously on foot,but first we had a "light" breakfast with 2 waffles covered of everything,you should take a look to Adrian's one
so now we were ready to start!!!! We walked for about 3-4 hours visiting wonderful places like the Cathedral of St Michel,the Church of Notredame Anglais du Sablon,the Cinquantatenaire,the Royale Palace,The European Parlament,The Palace of Justice and the Manneken Pis,Adrian told me about his legend,it tells that this boy "thanks to his nectar"
drove back an enemy assault so I said" he should drink a lot of beers"
All this in just 3-4 hours???Yes we did,we did, and it was worth it my friends cos' after this tour I changed my mind about this city," Brussels you keep me burning!!!!!!"But let me spend 2 words about the main square called "la Grand Place" a real magic place where you could breath a wonderful Christams atmosphere,the narrow streets close to the sqaure were full of chocolate shops,very pretty and delicious but very expensive too
Here I had an exhausting shopping buying a lot of souvenirs for my friends.....now we were hungry so we decided to have a break and put something under our teeth eating in a fast food...just few minutes and we were on the road again,we went to Atomium but I visited it on my own cos' Adrian was already there the day before....but I have to say I didn't like it....the shape outside was pretty but nothing else,then we finally came back to the hotel with aching legs
but very happy! Here I left my shopping bags and we rested a little bit, but' the best was yet to come
Around 20:30 we met once again Kirtana and we went to the Delirium Cafè where we had the meet&greet with the F.O.S of all Europe,let me say that it was *** AMAZING meet all the guys with which usually you chat through a cold keyboard of a pc,here we drunk rivers of beers and eaten sweeties made by Maureen and cookies made by Cindy (Hans' sister)I met Curry who gave me the t-shirt I asked her (you really did a great job,I will keep it like a relie!!!)but a special thanx goes to the promoter of this fantastic idea Mr...Mr (not Mr Amend
) Mr HANS!!! I don't words strong enough to describe what you did dear Hans,thank you,merci beaucoup,danke schon!!!!!!!!!! I am proud to be part of this family!
3rd day: We met 4 crazy italian friends in our hotel (Marco,Irene,Elena and Emiliano but not baby Klaus
) which were waiting for us and a couple of minutes later we met Marina from Spain( you speak too fast
)and all togheter we had a lunch in a fast food(and here my liver told me" Gianluca, thanks a lot for this junk food you are giving me during these days!
),in few minutes we finished our meals and we walked directly towards the final destination: THE FOREST NATIONAL,when we arrived to the avenue many fans were already there,later came Salvatore and Zaire from Germany(heja hejo don't look now the best is yet to come,sing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
).The F.O.S were the unofficial opening act
.When the gates opened a crazy race started to be in first row,but not me cos' I had a seat place(number 44)so I decided to buy a t-shirt and a hat at merchandise stand, quietly quietly I reached my place which was in the middle of the stage.(I have to say that the Forest National is a nice and comfortable structure,same as Italy
)
The opening act were THE ELVIS BLACK STARS,a french band who played a punk-rock well done but nothing of so exciting.....during the whole performance of this band I had a light or music engineer in front of me who was working with his console but fortunately (for him
)when SCORPIONS started the show he went away...if he was stayed there for the entire show of SCORPIONS I didn't know how the security could have quiet me

The setlist as you well know,was the same but when Klaus recognised all the F.O.S present in the first row,saying "We love our fans cos' they still support us after all these year" he dedicated us IN TRANCE remember that the band starting the career in this part of Europe playing here in Belgium in a beautiful church many many years ago...the second surprise of the show was NO ONE LIKE and when Klaus scremed "there's one like you!!!!!!!!!!" the folks went crazy!!!!!! ) RUDOLF&MATTHIAS PLAYED LOUD RIFFS, ,PAWEL AS WELL AND JAMES HIT HIS DRUMS WILDLY!!!!!!!!!!,.
After the show we came by taxi to Conrad Hotel where we tried to meet the band but Rudy&Matthias were already on the road for Germany(it was true?
)so we met only Klaus who seemed to be very very tired but he didn't renounce to have a photo session with the fans,ALWAYS SMILING TO EVERYBODY!!!
Then we came back to the hotel where Marta tried to have a shower but she didn't understand how the hot water worked
( I asked her"let's make one together and you won't need of any hot water
) but my plane has failed
