I'll write a review later, but it was my favourite concert until now

Shocker the same set list as 2010..I'm so happy the band is mixing it up for this farewell tour..sarcasm look it up..

6 ballads( 3 during the encores).. 9 minute drum solo and 4 minute guitar solo..5 minute instrumental with coast to coast..11 rockers..

does this sound like a set list from a HARD ROCK BAND!!!!! come on guys these fans are paying big bucks to see the same show over and over again..

Scott ,yes we all deal with this problem but who cares now??? For me the 'night to remember in Essen 2010' was one of the best shows ever. Now we all deal with the final farewell tour..

I saw last week ULI Roth live and he's just amazing now these days are not over yet !!!

I'll write a little review

Emilie & I arrived at the place of the festival very soon (an amazing and beautiful place, I really suggest to anyone who likes mountains or just being surrounded by an incredible landscape to go there at least once, you won't be dissapointed), so we walked a few in the town called "crans montana" and we could see everywhere it was a place for very rich people.

The place where the festival was located was a nice place, and Emilie saw the tent reserved for the scorpions show was the same as the one used for the longirock in may of 2010.

We waited a few hours there just the two of us alone, after a time Delphine arrived, so we had a great company . We even were interviewed by the local tv and they were shocked that we travelled from far to see just the scorpions show, and more shocked to know that it was our 8th show (but i think theÿ would have died if they knew that it was the 50th of Delphine)

After waiting we were all in the first row... and well... we had the chance to see a ... "different show" from the opening band "King Charles", the frontman was, mmm lets say strange. Not very apropiated to see before a hard rock show, I can remember only one song that I liked it was a good one, and also they had a talented bass player, really, he was so good.

At 22 15 the scorpions show started, (as you all know it was a festival, so no one expected a different setlist), and I would say from what we could see and we talked with the people, for most of the crowd it was the first scorpions show, so we even expected a shorter setlist, but it even was longer than last show we saw in Zurich.

We enjoyed a fantastic show. Really, it was an special one, and the scorps noticed it too, they seemed too happy, and they really had reasons for it, the crowd was enthusiastic,. For me the sound was with good quality, is true that the bass was loud, but I could listen to both guitars and the voice clearly.
To be honest, the setlist might not have surprises for us (except when the smoke is going down, which for me was a nice surprise), but remember your first scorpions show, surely you were excited to listen to still loving you, holiday, bad boys, hurricane, big city etc etc. and it seemed that to everyone there.
For me, my opinion is that we are lucky, really lucky to see this incredible show and which such a high quality, so even the songs were the same as in the last show, how couldn’t you be amazed by Matthias technique on guitar, how couldn’t Klaus incredible voice give you chills, or your ass being kicked by James and Pawel, or being shocked by Rudy the rock machine.
There are many moments to remember, with members of the band (specially that eye to eye with Klaus and Matthias this time), or the performance of the songs or the special meaning of some songs like the best is yet to come, which by the way was received, with screams and shouts like no other song before ( I think that being the number one on the radio for so many weeks, (Emilie managed to put the song on the radio by the way, and was voted by the FOS) helped that.
So we lived something amazing, we all had the same feeling, that we had seen something that only the scorpions can do.

See you again this 2011 (sure on Geneve & Bruxelles and somewhere in the world)

Anyway, I don't care about the setlist either, I can't wait for THE FEELING, the Scorpions-feeling in June.
It is the most wonderful one, a set isn't a big deal for me related to it.

I agree that it would be amazing if they spiced it up a bit on the setlist, but when you are standing by the stage and know that in 2mins the show will start, you just go with the flow and don't care... at least it's like this for me I enjoy every moment anyway.
