its the truth and some ppl hate the truth ..
The Scorps could be still popular in the highest means worldwide had this last cd had ..
At least 2 decent mtv / vh1 videos
More then one single with more airplay .
Appearances on USA tv ,, like Ellen .. Tonite Show .. The Today Show ..
and this all goes back to 93 when all this just went away .. and whos the main reason for this besides management ...

Well alot of this is from lack of good promotion on managements fault ..


1.) Face The Heat ... Alien Nation got air play here for awhile .. But the video was not pushed on mtv .. I heard Women on the radio once and that was when Klaus was interviewd about the new cd on air and said it was his favorite from the cd .and also the video was not on mtv
I heard Under The Same Sun 2 times once in pittsburgh and once in trenton again the video was not pushed on mtv
2.) Pure Instinct .. Wild Child .. not played here on the air .. I did here it for a short time in Philly .. when the show at Sony Center was coming up
3.) Eye To Eye .. again .. only Mysterious saw limited air time and that was ended after the Scorps played Merriweather. The video for . To Be No.1 not shown here and Alleyh was not played at all .
4.) Moment Of Glory ... Hurricane 2000 was played and so was SLY and WOC after i *** at the then program director at 98 rock. It also sucked that the dvd took so long to go on sale here.
5.) Acoustica .. To this day the dvd cannot be found on the shelf of any american store ,, unless its one of my Pal versions i sold 6.) Unbreakable .. Love Em Or Leave Em .. great song .. limit air time .. no videos from the cd ..
Deep and Dark .. Through My Eyes would have been great songs for the air. Plus the tour ended at the Mississippi river.
7.) Humanity Hr 1 .. No air play of any songs ... no videos on mtv and a limited tour
8.) Sting In The Tail // Raised on Rock .. i heard it maybe 8 times no other singles played on air yet .. Slave Me would have been great as well as some others and also no videos for Vh1 or Mtv ..
If you wanna show off your band promote them ...

I meant that E2E didn't help because they changed their sound so much on that album that it probably hurt their popularity.

The worst part of the USA tour for Monica/Ted is that the tour was successful.

This is a horrible statement...Monica/Ted only wanted the best for the Scorpions in the end..They are true fans and not bandwagon fans..

I agree Scott ! Ted and Monica are too big to fit up the " Yes Man's " ass Kudos to them If it was'nt for fans like them , Sting In The Tail would'nt be what it is today .

due to being a poor bastard it will have to be in the central part of the country .
maybe they will play ST. LOUIS or LOUISVILLE ??? long drives but i'll do it for one last go around

I think the set list could have been a lot better. And they didn't play the best songs on the new album. Just my opinion.

As far as comparing Bon Jovi to the Scorpions, obviously Bon Jovi has better management but they also changed their style too. Sometimes they almost sound country. And lets face it, most of Bon Jovi's appeal are their looks. I do like some of their songs though.

i agree with you there berry it ended way to fast..it makes me wish we can rewind it over and over again so it doesn't end...but hey they are suppose to come back for round 2 of get your sting and blackout tour so we'll sit back and wait til it happens...its all we can do right?..hugs nunny!
