Anyway, the following are the top 10 things I've learnt from my experience in Cologne.
1. Cologne is all about losing your way at every opportunity and finding it back using a different route each time.
2. No matter what Hans said, Katerina and I were "gentlemen" enough to send him back to his hotel after a very long first day (for him) in Cologne.
3. The wind in Cologne will never be my best friend. It's scared of Hans, though, and hardly appeared whenever he's around.
4. Katerina didn't need food to survive. She could just live on cold weather.
5. Hans is also a doctor. While waiting to go inside the arena, I told him I might be coming down with fever. He immediately diagnosed it as "steamrock fever". So, naturally, what I needed were high doses of "scorpions".
6. True enough! Although my whole body was aching, and I had to wear gloves (Thanks, Delphine!) to cover my extremely cold hands, I could still muster enough energy to sing and move throughout the entire Scorpions setlist. Of course, I didn't sing every single song in its entirety. Some parts are best left to Klaus.
7. Delphine was very good at catching drum sticks for me. Merci beaucoup !
8. I almost got Pawel's towel but Brigitte had a deadly grip on it.
9. Despite standing on Matthias' side, I could hear the whole band very clearly. Well, they are Scorpions after all!
10. Rudolf's handshake can make you feel better instantly. At least, for that instant.
