2010 Germany Tour (Köln)

Poor Hans! He did say that he wasn't going to try to understand women anymore.

Anyway, the following are the top 10 things I've learnt from my experience in Cologne.

1. Cologne is all about losing your way at every opportunity and finding it back using a different route each time.

2. No matter what Hans said, Katerina and I were "gentlemen" enough to send him back to his hotel after a very long first day (for him) in Cologne.

3. The wind in Cologne will never be my best friend. It's scared of Hans, though, and hardly appeared whenever he's around. :!:

4. Katerina didn't need food to survive. She could just live on cold weather. 8)

5. Hans is also a doctor. While waiting to go inside the arena, I told him I might be coming down with fever. He immediately diagnosed it as "steamrock fever". So, naturally, what I needed were high doses of "scorpions". :)

6. True enough! Although my whole body was aching, and I had to wear gloves (Thanks, Delphine!) to cover my extremely cold hands, I could still muster enough energy to sing and move throughout the entire Scorpions setlist. Of course, I didn't sing every single song in its entirety. Some parts are best left to Klaus. :P

7. Delphine was very good at catching drum sticks for me. Merci beaucoup !

8. I almost got Pawel's towel but Brigitte had a deadly grip on it.

9. Despite standing on Matthias' side, I could hear the whole band very clearly. Well, they are Scorpions after all!

10. Rudolf's handshake can make you feel better instantly. At least, for that instant. :D

Yeah, I am not so much in a poetry mood either. Unless it's full of anger and *** and how phony people are!! ha!

My review Part 2

It was a great show, waiting to hear dynamite  Rudolf and Matthias keep coming to the top of the T stage!
And seeing the pyramide just in front of us, 8).Pity enough it was a little difficult to take pictures,we're just standing on the second row! After the show we went to Adrian to talk, still bought a T-shirt long sleeves and went outsite to the car, then we got a phone call from Philip;so we turn back and look for them! Then we had our long distance call  ! we went back to the car,we forgot witch flour he was standing,we huried so much when we arrived  We just knew it was high   We checked one flour and it was immedialtely the right one, there was only our ca anymore  Then we drove to the HRC,but when we arrived there Hans and the gang already arrived there! We couldn't enter,so we went to the hotel just around the corner!Matthias was there talking to the fans,he told to some I've seen you,and you,...and you, when he saw me(at the hotel, not in the audience  ) he told hallo Kristof,so 8) he remembered my name! After asking some moer autographs we wanted to take a picture,Matthias told Oh no,first the Belgians ,then the Italians  We called Hans and Philip and we got our picture!Later i still took some pictures of the Crazy Italians  from a different angle ,Matthias asked me to stay behind the others who took the pictures, becausethe didn't know where to look anymore, there wer flashes from everywhere  !A while later the rest of the band passed with their partners!Later James was passing ,we called him,he told give me 2 min,but it as been very long minutes,i guess after 20 min he passed again and he told again 2 more minutes, finally he stopped with us ,first almost picture, then signature and finally the picture, after 3 time got disturbed and dissapear again,...
Klaus still passed and we could take fast a picture :) Rudolf totally didn't got the time to spend some time with us,...we still saw Doro at the hotel, but i didn't know who she was,i had to ask to Adrian! We had a nice talk there with Adrian! And our Belgian friends Marc and Nancy! Then we left,Adrian was already left a while, just like the rest of the Belgians! We arrived back home at 6.30 am next morning!
We sure had a great time! Its not bad, finding out that you can go to a Scorpions concert on the day of the concert :D :D No need for counting the days  And all of it thanks to Hans and Katerina!

Coming home again"

De rien, c'était avec plaisir :D
Klaus and James sent this stick to you, it was normal that you get it. And I not sure that if it was the people around us who caught them, they gave them to you ...

The moment that I had prefered it was when Rudolf spoke about you at the HRC :D :D

Here are FINALLY my impressions......:
We arrived at 11 am at the arena. We are alone to the world!!!!!Hey yes,no one at the present time!We settled down in front of the entrance, and the long wait began....The rain did not stop at no time!!!At 6 pm, we were finally able to enter and to take place.I had decided to put myself in the end of the T and i'm so happy of this choice!
Magnificent nearness with the group in this place  The absolutely brilliant and very strong show was in feelings for me.And pure happiness to hear "When the smoke is going down" in the second reminder.I was able to take some magnificent and very personal pictures which else today make beat my heart in 300/h
As far as these pictures were signed by each of the members of the group on this November 21st in Dillingen!!
And, finally,i was able to have a mediator of Matthias!!!YES :D (and drumstick, and mediator of Rudy and Pawel!).After the show,we went to the HRC but impossible to enter (as explained in the other reviews). We were together with Adriano (and her friends) and Yasmin. We finally followed them up the hotel where we were lucky to meet Matthias (picture in the support!!!)But...we did not wait enough and have failure Klaus...: what is the only fly in the ointment :? (But everything was caught up to Dillingen!!!!! :D )
Here we are, another very big moment of my life this show of Koln............. 8)

I don't have to add anything about the show, the guys have already said it all. Thanks everyone for posting your reviews, it's always great to see the same experience through the others' eyes:-) Hans and Haley, damn, no words
I loved to meet you two, Adrian, Philip, Kristof & wife, Jess, Anika, Delphine, and more. Special thanks to Haley and HansB for putting up with me every day  And yes dear, when you left we had for sure more wind. (lol)

Btw, I have to mention this, it was one of the most funny moments in Cologne for me. The day after the concert, HansB and Philip would leave for Belgium, and it was scheduled that I would meet with Anika again. While walking to the place of the meeting - surprise! in front of the cathedral - , I saw someone who looked familiar, coming from the other direction. Finally it was Philip. We talked a little, he said he was going for a walk in the city and I told him that maybe he could meet HansB then before he left, and they could walk together. So he said, ok, he will call him. So we said bye bye cause we wouldn't see each other again 1, and I went to Anika. But she wasn't alone, HansB had already bumped into her. At the same moment HansB's cell rung and Philip was on the line. It seems they were trying to understand where each other was. (mrgreen) Indeed, a minute later Philip came to us. God, it last so long to see him again indeed. ( ) After a little talking, we said again bye bye to Philip, cause we wouldn't see him again2, and he left with HansB. Anika and I went in the city..at some point we were out of the hard rock cafe taking "professional pictures" when we heard a voice, 'oh, these tourists, maybe they can help us take a picture'. We turned around and it was HansB with Philip (mgreeeeeen). Finally we took pictures of everyone in the HRC and then said again bye bye to Philip3. Ok, this time it was the final one.
