Germany ROCKS.

My father and I reached the 12:15 train station in Hamburg and went to our hotel. After we arrived brought our stuff in the room, and went back to the centrum. We went to Saturn and then in another shop where I bought some clothes. Then we went back to Saturn for autographs and there we met with Irene Marco, Ruta and Marta, and later came Adrinano, Salvatore and the Spanish gang.
I got a my RYL Poster signed....

After the autograph session, we (the Italian gang, spanish gang, Ruta and Marta, me and my father) separated again and met up again at 20:00 to do something together. Then we did the first party in the main train station and moved on to a pub where we celebrated then in Adrian's birthday.
The next morning my father and I went again to a bar near the hotel where the Scorpions were.
After that we went to the O2 World, where we waited to get in...

After the concert we took the bus to the S-Bahn and drove back to the centralstation and waited for Ruta, Marta and the italian gang close to the hotel where the Scorpions stayed.

My Father and me left the hotelbar at ca. 4.30 am....

Hans dear, I am so very sorry for missing the signing-session.
I am so very sorry for your kids to be so unlucky not to meet the band, but I will pray for coming their time finally.

OK here we are, 19th november 2010 a adte to remember
But,first,let me take a step back in the past...
I remember like was just today...1988....I was listining to the radio when suddenly a sweet sound came out from my headphones....I didn't know the band
that created that sound....so I started to search....in 1988 the web was not so developed like today so it was not easy find information...
I was going crazy... when one day, suddenly, I saw in a newspaper shop a metalmagazine..on the cover of this metalmagazine were a band called
SCORPIONS....I thought to myself:ok Gianluca...maybe this is the right time....and the story begun...
the poison of the SCORPIONS started to flow in my veins everyday....ops...I was forgetting the name of the sweet poison: RHYTHM OF LOVE....

day one: 18th november 2010

I landed in hamburg airport at 18:15 more or less,so I arrived too late to see the meet&greet scheduled at saturn at 17:p.m... so I went to the hotel by taxi
drove by a nice turkish driver, big supporter of besiktas f.c. ,when I arrived to the hotel I saw some SCORPIONS fans that spoke in italian language
and I thought to myself "they should be adrian's friends"! and I was right,just few minutes to make a shower and go out with them,my first impression was that
SCORPIONS family is the best of the world!
We went to hauptbahnhof station(this is the only german word that I learnt during these 2 days in Hamburg where we eaten fried chicken full of cholesterol,
a big party for our hearts! Here I also finally met ruta and marta, 2 nice and clever girls from East Europe,(I hope that when you will write your review you won't talk
bad about me, right ruta? .Later we celebrated adrian's birthday in a pub with litres of beers(thanx for the beer!)and we sang all togheter happy birthday,during this party were 2 special
guests:a female keyboard player and a female voice,she had a voice like Maria Callas!!!After the party we tried to meet the SCORPIONS to the hotel
where they stayed but we hadn't success...we only saw pawel but he didn't talk with us , so it was time to sleep,we came back to the hotel..


day 2: 19th november 2010: a dream becomes true!
I woke up at 9:30 and I went to the hall of the hotel to wait the others friends and after the breakfast we had a tour at center of Hamburg where we saw rudolf with his girfriend
but we didn't stop him...here the group divided in 2: one part went to eat something and the second one(me included) went directly to the O2 arena
cos' we wanted to be the first ones to come inside: We arrived to the O2 arena around 15:00 so we decided to eat something... we went to a restaurant
(more or less )where I eaten something that I still understood what it was but if I'm writing this review it was good the "nice" german woman who served
us didn't speak any word of english so we couldn't know what we were eating
After the lunch we came back to the O2 arena where we had a long queue for about 2-3 hours,here one of the security said:"we will open the gates in few
minutes"maybe in germany few minutes are compared to 2-3 hours
we entered in 02 arena at 18:00-18:30,when I saw the internal of 02 arena I said to myself:WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!what a structure!!!a multi function arena,modern
and futuristic!same as Italy!:-(((
Around 19:30-20:00 EDGUY started the show as opening act,and I have to say that they played very loud,I didn't know a lot about the band of tobias sammet
but they impressed me!

and now........it's time for emotions,I will try to refrain my tears but it won't be easy...
Bang bang rock with the gang,bang bang rock with the gang....the show started with STING IN THE TAIL and here a lots of firworks
came out from the stage(yes, real fire!)Klaus soon taken the folks with his charism,the show went on with MAKE IT REAL one my favourite SCORPS songs,
then BAD BOYS RUNNING WILD that it seemed to me more loud on live version than on cd....THE ZOO was the 4th song of this magic night...the wonderful
COAST TO COAST gave break to klaus's voice,they perfectly played it!now let's make a step back at 70's with LOVING YOU SUNDAY MORNING...after a break
where klaus talked to the folks in german language,they played again from sting in the tail with THE BEST IS YET TO COME,ruta's favourite song,she cried during
during this song ....it was amazing!!!!!!After this, they played another ballad taken from crazy world album,
SEND ME AN ANGEL and here I felt a shiver crawling down my spine.....again 70's with another ballad,HOLIDAY played entirely....followed by
WIND OF CHANGE...and now it's time to rock again with RAISED ON ROCK,yeah!!!!!!!!!Still *** rock n'roll with TEASE ME PLEASE ME,just time to take a deep breath that they played DYNAMITE, very loud! I really was coming in my underpants! !!!!!!SCORPIONS: you're still my dynamite!!!!
after this *** song the band had a long break,during which james played his KOTTAK ATTACK with the covers of scorpions albums ran on the
maxi-display behind his back,very enjoyable!just 3 words: YOU KICK MY ASS!!!!!!!!the sound of the siren announced BLACKOUT where Rudolf
worn his wonderful mask,and with his guitar spat out languages of fire!!!!!!!!!the long solo of Mathias introduced BIG CITY NIGHTS
what a song guys!!!!they played it perfectly!!!at the end of the song they built their pyramid in front of the stage,waving german,italian,spanish,
french and brazilian flags!The SCORPIONS music unites people from all over the world!And now lighters up to the air...it's time
for the best love song:STILL LOVING YOU,with this song I had a personal emotions,when I was younger I fallen in love listing to this song!
The concert was ending...but it could not end without ROCK YOU LIKE A HURRICANE where the crowd sung it at the top of their voices!AWESOME!!!
WHEN THE SMOKE IS GOING played in acoustic version closed the show...
The gig was over ...what can I say?
The band was in a good mood,full of energy,I can't believe that they are playing their farewell tour,I still think that they can kick asses
to other bands!
After the show I met the band to the hotel, (where I drunk 4 beers or 5 They signed my italian flag,I shooted photos with Klaus,Rudolf,Mathias and James...when I met
Klaus I taken bow to his feet,and said him:"PLEASE DON'T STOP YOU MUSIC!"...I can't describe what I felt in that moment..I thought to myself:"now I can die happily"
I would like to thank the whole scorps family I met Hamburg where I spent 2 unforgettable days:IRENE,ZAIRA,MARCO,SALVATORE(from Calabria)
MIRKO,GIORGIA and his father FRANCESCO,RAPHAEL from Brazil(the man who didn't sleep:-))))OSCAR and ANTONIO from Barcellona(but Real Madrid supporters:- , RUTA from Lithuania(remember STRONZO?
and Marta from Poland (a future doctor),you miss me so much like the stars to the sky!
A special thank to Adrian:I could never meet SCORPIONS without your endless help,you helped me to realize my dream!

Hello there...I came back from Hamburg just last night and the only thing I can say is "Such a great time!!!". There are obviously many things to comment about the show....WE WHERE THE ONES WITH THE SPECIAL TSHIRT WITH THE EVENT...My friend and I say hello to a few people after left the stage: the two spanish guys with the flag (Antonio and Oscar) and another blond italian fan (I dont´t know his name) but I have some good pics i could share with all of you. The problem is I have no idea how to do it.

I really enjoy the concert. I love Edguy (also Avantasia as Tobias Sammet is for me a great musician in the world rock scenary) and it was a double satisfaction to have these two bands at the same time . The O2 Arena was good accoustic. The german public was too cold for me...with the exception of the people just in front of the stage (mostly fans)who demonstrate a strong feeling and joy, the ones in the back side of the ground and the two floors of seats above remained so unusually quite and "well behaved" that I was astonished (It must be in Spain we are louder and a bit bizarre...hahaha). Any way...the whole setlist, the show, my beloved Scorpions giving it all made me feel in heaven. In fact, with my Eventium tickkets I was condemned to stay in the last row above all but fortunatly we manage to squezze downstairs and got right in the middle of the groundfloor...yeahhh!!!.

My live is plenty of R&R but never is enough so...I look forward to see Scorpions again in Madrid Or Barcelona next year (I hope they consider it!!!)
