But for a few exceptions, the setlist looks the same as always. Hopefully when they officially start the Get Your Sting Tour in Germany next month, they will change that up more and play songs they haven't played in a long time, take off some of the ones that are overdone, play more rockers, play more songs from Sting In The Tail, do pyros and smoke, etc. AND do the pyramid!!!! That's my dream for America anyway.

On a personal note: I cannot stand Loving You Sunday Morning. One of the very few on their huge repertoire!!

Yes I am very happy that I could enjoy a longer show in Prague. That set was amazing with the old classics like Pictured Life or He's A Woman She's A Man. I think the same that they dropped these songs from the setlist but I hope that they will add new songs instead of them. Klaus said in the hotel that they plan to play more about the Sting In The Tail. Rock Zone and maybe SLY.
The Ostrava set had been shorter than usual. This was a typical festival tracklist and I am sure that they will play much more songs in the german dates! Btw...do you plan to fly any of the german steps? We will be in Stuttgart!

Agreed plus stop playing ballads during the encores..we need rockers to end the show..coming back for the encores and playing Still loving you and wind of change is a huge mistake...

Yes and they really have to stop ending the show with RYLAH!! I looove that song and would not want it taken off competely, but the ending? It should be The Best Is Yet To Come OR even Rock Zone, Let's Rock or Spirit of Rock, cuz those are fan songs!!!!
I think Scott that WOC is a European fave but they know it's not in N.A., so....
But the ballads are important too as they became famous for both ballads and rockers. I would not want them to take off SMAA or SLY since THAT is the song I fell in love with Klaus' voice back in '84. But they have so many amazing songs they could do and yes Animal Magnetism BETTER be one they do here!! ha! And I do love the oldies they are doing in Europe so far; We'll Burn The Sky, Pictured Life. But, and I am going to get in trouble here, they can eliminate Blackout and put in another Sting..song. They have some incredible rockers on this new album, that I listen to it all the time while I am at the gym and I am jammin on those machines!! ha!
And I am sooo expecting ramps and smoke and pyros. Matthias tells me that he is extremely busy with not only promoting this album, but also preparing for the new tour. I am sooo hoping that means they are going to give us an 80's type feel!!! Just my own fantasy!! HA!
BTW didn't Rudolf hint at a skywalk? heheheh

It was great show as I said...about setlist...I think it was shorter beacause of it wasnt normal show..i mean, it was part of the election campaign...according to one czech website there were about 10 000 people. There are how many peaople were on Scorpions shows in Ostrava before:
1993 - 5000 people
2007 - 6000 people

so yesterday Scorpions had the biggest audience in Ostrava ever.
I went there with my sister, my friend and finally my mum came too ...We arrived to Prokešovo náměstí (name of the square where the show was) cca. 3:45 p.m... went in front of stage (on Rudy's side) and waited...at 7:00 p.m. the politicians appeared on stage...one by one ..no applause some of them got booed...nobody didnt care about them, everybody wanted to see Scorps . They spoke about 10 minutes (thanks God) and then moderator said the band asked about 10-15 minutes for soundcheck..of course it werent only 15 minutes...The show started cca. at 7:40. and ended cca at 21:20....I brought 3 souvenirs at home 2 Rudy's picks and one of Pawel...now i have great collection with 2 drumsticks of Klaus from Prague's show. Now its time to some pics and videos because im not good reviewer

About setlists, personally I would be kinda dissapointed of they wouldn't play Holiday any more. But as far as I'm concerned they could leave out

Big stage, good and quite long setlist .... only weather was cold...

Politics were not speaking on main Scorpions stage!!! They were on next smaller stage and thanks God I need not watch their „show“.

I´m sure that band met in Ostrava no politics... they met here only fans

I had good time with my polish friends. I think their czech language becomes better and better.... and my polish too

And I have one very funny story...
We was in hotel restaurant. The band have a dinner there. In the hotel hall were waiting fans. One fan saw my husband and she asked him for his autograph and photo because she saw the man with cap and thought that he is Klaus!
He was surprised and told her: „Sorry, I´m not from the band. I´m fan from Ostrava.“
One polish friend of Pawel saw it and he laughed very much and said: „Hey man, you are not from band but you have fans.... it is fantastic...“
She got later autograph from original Scorpions singer

Yeah it was AWESOME...I have no words to describe my feelings, but you all know this...and I think too it's good they didn't play WOC.
I was so happy when Klaus recognized me during the first song . I adore him more and more...but I'm little bit sad, that I have never met him in person .
But of course THANK YOU SCORPIONS FOR THE SHOW!!!

Now I wonder why some of you dont like Wind of Change

I like Wind of Change!!! It is very special song for fans from Czech Republic. It was my first Scorpions song what I heard....
I´m always waiting for this song in the end of show but now was different situations. Part of politics wanted use this song for their own benefit!!! It was very good and right choice don´t play it here!

P.S.: Renata it's funny, but I must say that I was thinking same for a while just before the concert-You're lucky woman that you found a man, who looks little bit like Klaus!!

.... my friends say it too... they make jokes that he is so big fan that he started look like singer but I really don´t see this similarity between Pavel and Klaus... and I really didn´t find man who looks similarly like Klaus!! Original is only the one!

Cristy they can't end a show with a new song..90% of the people in the crowd would not know the song..

Rudy has said alot of things in the past 5 years and none of them have happen. So i would believe it when i see it. I have heard that the new stage and all the props will be ready for the first show in Germany..So we have to wait and see what happens in the next couple weeks.

Also after 31 years i would really like for the Scorpions to retire Coast to Coast well at least for the 2010 tour if they want to bring it back for the 2012 on the farewell year tour that is fine with me. To me Coast to coast is taking away from a new song they can play. I have said this before and i will repeat it again i wish the Scorpions would do a medley of the classic songs from the 70's in the middle of their set. Pictured Life,Speedy's Coming,Robot Man,Top of the Bill and Catch a Train...also stop playing "the Zoo" so earlier in the set. that song is a perfect encore song. I wish the Scorpions would go back to the encores from WWL..The Zoo,No One Like You and Can't Get Enough. I agree Cristy Hurricane should be right in the middle of the set.
