I also agree that the flood control is stupid. It restricts real conversations from taking place.

Yeah! Wolf, please reduce it!

Man muss dann immer so lange warten, bis man wieder posten kann!

4 minutes are so long to wait to answer..........please reduce it........if 2 minutes isn't possible, please why don't we back to the starting 3 minutes?

Yea, 4 minutes between posts is a long time to wait. I remember the good old days when it used to be 60 secs...

Flood control is necessary to reduce senseless posts for example:
thanxcoolgreat

we still have those senseless posts in almost every topic.. why not a filter for one-word-posts?

The 4 min. filter is still here, but the word F U K K I N G of the topic title has been censored.. nice one! And i needed less than 2 minutes to type this post.

Yes we know what you mean but these people will
still wait out the four minutes to post their one-word
thoughts.....and when did you move it back up to four
minutes.....I thought it was only two minutes....

Surprises are great for birthdays and Christmas but not
in the forum....

Sorry to dissaproove with you guys but i think Wolfgang is right. In the past i used to post everyday many messages and many of them were useless. But now i don't post very much and i don't have any problems with the flood control. I think the flood control is a good thing and will make the forum a bit more 'mature' ...

THE NIGHTWISH and IRON MAIDEN board have NO flood control. They have real conversations going on there.

"i don't have any problems with the flood control"

I do. I need less than 2 minutes to type a six or eight lines topic, but i have to wait those fukcing 4 minutes because of all those bored people who wants to post one word in each topic. If you want to fix this problem, as i said before, put a filter for those one-word-posts instead the one of the four minutes. It's silly.

AND STOP CENSORING, PLEASE. WE LIVE IN A FREE WORLD WITH FREEDOM OF SPEECH.

I'd be very frustrated if i opened a topic and the only replies there were 'thanks' 'cool' or 'great'.
