Anna I can assure you that most of the people who support flood control are not envious of those who have more posts. I could sit here posting all day if I wanted to, but I only post if I have something to say, unlike most of the people who have alot of posts.
ok, ok... sorry, i was not serious in those words... i also post when i have something to say... at least i think so...

Anna, my last comment wasn't aimed at you, however there are people who have a large number of posts who will post alot of comments like I agree, cool, or thank you. Why sit here for 4 minutes just to post a comment like that, use the 4 minutes to think of a more suitable reply. Some people have even carried on whole conversations here in the forum, as yaya's stated that is why we have a chat room, or if the chat room isn't working use pm's or try MSN or Yahoo messenger. Just my opinion.

If we want that people don't post too much messages per day, wolf has just to take off the "number of posts" shown under the name... and it will be ok, sure !

this idea sucks because there are new member and one have to say them Welcome !!!

Rudolf I am just curious, what does having a number under your name have to do with saying hello to new members?

I think it might be a good idea to remove the number. Sometimes it seems like people are having a competition to see who can get the most posts.

because if have 1, 2 post ....is a new member and is good say welcome to him/her ! always is good
and this is not a competition
i don´t care be no.1 of the post or no.10
all of you are so interesting on it. Every reply is about the post . I put the topic about 180 sec because is so long time wait for some members.

Well Rudolf, having only one or two posts does not always mean that someone is a new member. There are alot of people who have been members a long time but they only have a few posts. If you feel the need to welcome someone welcome them in the introduce yourself section when they introduce themselves, then you wouldn't need a number to know they are new.

no, i don't like the idea, I prefer the 180 sec. I'm not in a competition, but I'm in the top 25 of members that post here, and maybe that's why Klaus knew my nickname, so, sorry if that's a good way to be recognized by the band, let's stick it to it. Nicola was recognized by Klaus too, and that's because he's number 1 in top 25 of posters.
