I'd like to see a flood control where maybe it only lets people post 24 times within a 24 hour time frame. There are too many people who reply to posts with simply a smiley face or an "I agree" or disagree.

If you have something to say, say it but if you have to reply with just saying you agree, there's no need for it. The very people who are trying to get rid of this flood control are the ones who have the most posts, or are posting the most at this time and say NOTHING at all in their responses.

Here's what I think: Go ahead and post if you have SOMETHING TO SAY otherwise, go to the chatroom (IF THE WEBMASTER CAN EVER GET ONE TO WORK). You can give people your 2 word agreements there.

Agree or disagree, it's what's happening.

In Wolfgang's defense the first chat worked just fine, most didn't like it because there was no feature to ignore unwanted guest. Wolfgang then tried several chats after that and still it was not great. I agree with those who say to go back to the first chat room, and i agree it would be nice for that chat room to have an ignore feature but if it doesn't....then just ignore unwanted guests on your own! Seems like an easy fix to me. As for the flood control, I can't belive how much faster the post go with the flood control time limit lowered! I think that is great! I also get tired of the I AGREE posts 2000000000 times! I'm not saying that I have never done that myself, but I try not to.

well, sometimes just the agreement of many people is needed! and i think there's nothing wrong with saying "thank you" for someone who posted interesting info about the band...
and i can suppose that all people who support flood control just envy those who have more posts if we could post only 24 posts per day this forum would be dead...

but sometimes happen, 90 sec is goos i think

and about the faces or agree disagree , maybe one post just that because there are no more to say

I know a number of people who have gotten tired of the forum because of all the meaningless posts including myself. I don't even read much of it anymore.

I don't want to sit and point fingers here but Rudolf16, you have posted about 700-800 times in the last week to week and a half. I personally think that's overkill. Noone has that much "interesting" material to talk about. If you would prefer, just go into the chatroom and agree with people there.

Obviously you're going to do what you want, but think about the rest of us who come in and don't want to read 20 minutes of people saying they agree with each other. When I go onto the forum, I want to read some actual insight from others, not agreements....as do many other people who come onto this site.

Just some hopeful advice for some
