Why Scorpions

I been reading all kinds of information of the scorpions but i haven't found why they named it the scorpions i really wana know, if anyone would be so kind and share information please. :D

Rudolf had plans from the very early years to have a band which would be internationally known, so he found the name. It´s international, it has the element of danger and excitement, the animal has a sting with poison , so they inject the venom of ROCK into the veins of the listeners..etc etc.
