E-mail notification

Could you please tell me how I can remove the notification option when sb replies to a topic that I've posted?
Even if I had selected Edit posting defaults>Notify me upon replies by default>No ,I still receive notifications..
Also,when a notifications arrives at my email adress,it appears a link which says that If I press it,I won't get notifications anymore..I already did it but without result..so, isn't there other way to stop notifications?

Look at the bottom you will see Unsubscribe topic in RED, click on that. It will take you off notification.

I hope this was okay to answer since so many others answer questions just like this. :shock:

I'm not sure about what you mean with your last sentence.., but thank you very much anway for the help,I'll try what you told me and hope it will work and I won't get notifications anymore
