Country section

Hi,

just an idea. Maybe you could open a new topic, called 'country sections' or something like that, where you can move the german, italian, brazil .... discussions that are now in the 'introduce yourself' section.

Now in this section is a kind of a mess and it's easy to miss it when someone wants to introduce himself.

Wolfgang, ich hoffe du hast verstanden was ich sagen wollte :lol:

, auf deutsch könnte ich es natürlich besser erklären.

This idea has been discussed in the past and it was decided at that time that the "introduce yourself" section worked well for these types of topics. I do see your point though because there is sure alot going on in that section since the last time this discussion was made.

Hi Tom,

I don't know these persons, but after your comment I think they make country music. O.k. not bad, but then we need another one for german Schlager (just look for Bata Ilic and Michaela, for example).

joking apart: Maybe there are other opinions to the original meaning of this topic?

Eeeee , I didn´t quite get it.. did you mean like a separate section for different nationalities, maybe? :shock:

Where people are talking in their own mother language (OR making visits to practise a foreign language :wink:

Hi Lenita,

that's exatly what I meant. In the 'introduce yourself' section you find the threads 'Sprechen Sie deutsch (german)', 'BONJOUR LES FRANCAIS !!', 'MADE IN BRAZIL', 'LATINOS E HISPANOS', 'Fan Italiani cercasi....' .... with a lot of pages of discussion. In my eyes this has not a lot to do with the title of this section. And because of all these threads you can miss a person who really wants to introduce himself / herself. That's why I suggested to make a new section, a country section with all these threads (but without Dolly Parton).

I heartily agree Hans. Make the Introduce Yourself topic mean exactly that and not so much discussion between other countries. Making a separate topic that says something like Where Are You From? sounds good. Whatever!! :lol:
