Thursday:ok, let's start.......i picked up Nik to Pisa airport on thursday morning, and we drove to Basel by car.We spent about 8 hours on highway, with a never ending rain.......but when we arrived to Basel we found the sun, it was incredible!!!!!
We arrived there at 17.30, after we found the apartment,we searched for a restaurant.After a very good and XXL steak we went to sleep.
Friday:we woke up with the rain.....a never ending rain, it rained for the whole day, with few breaks.
We decided to have a little tour of the city (there are very nice places to visit), then we went to take a look to "Swiss le plaza hotel"........with the hope that band could be there.We met there others fans, from Austria,and France.......but all of us were wrong, band was not there, and Alex (the responsable of merchandising" confirmed that.
So we went inside the venue of the show....a bit disappointed of our bad luck.......
now.....there is mine point of view........i don't understand how......the organizers of the show, decided to play a rock show in that way.
I mean, they put hundreds tables in front of the stage, thinking that people could see the show standing sit.
I got only balcony tickets, so me and Nik were so far from the stage,and there were only sitting zombies around us.....just clapping hands.......
Btw, the band played a great show, they played for about 1.50 hours, with one more song at the end, and they did no mistakes...as always.Band was in a great shape, always smiling....i saw Rudy at the end running from a side to the other side of the stage.......my God, i want to be like him to 61.
At the end of the show, i met Sabrina and her b/f.....and my swiss brother Jurgen with his wife, with Delphine too......great to meet you friends!!!!!!
After i got an information......where band could stay in a hotel.......so i decided to go there......and we met the band finally.Form that moment luck came back.
We sit inside the hotel, and before Pavel came to us to salute, and then he stopped with us to talk a bit, i gave him a present, then he had to leave us, and came back after some minutes.
He stopped again with us , taking pictures, and talking......then Klaus came......he recognized to me to Nik and to the others, and he spent time with us , and i gave him a present too, he got lots of present that night
Then Matthias and Rudolf came, with Rudy i had just the time to taking a picture, but with Matthias, when he saw me, he told me......."hey.......Italy!!!!!!" he's been very funny, i talked and joked with him about the show.......btw the whole band was in a very good mood, everyone were smiling, spending time with fans.Then we had to leave the hotel.....and before to go, once again i went to say hello to Pavel....and he hugged to me!!!!
After another crazy night....we back to the flat to sleep.....
Saturday:we woke up......and we decided to go back to the hotel, and some few minutes we arrived there, Pavel came out.
Firstly he salute us, then he went to his car to leave something inside, and then he came back to us.
We spent some time with him, talking about new album, new tour and his projects,then came Klaus, and with him talked about a date in Italy for next tour, and Nik advices them to play in Taormina.....and Pavel, asking to Klaus......"why don't we go to play in Taormina?"
and another funny story.......Pavel were drinking "red bull" and suddenly Rudolf came out from the hotel.....
Rudolf called Pavel (looking to me and Nik) with "Red Bull......you're younger than me and Klaus, and you need to drink Red bull to have energy like us"
he's been very funny!!!!ok....after that they had to leave......and me and Nik too......
We traveled togheter to Milan and from there, i drove to home.....arriving at 22.30......totally tired, but once again with lots of great memories.....
Can't wait for next show........are you ready?????
And yes, I do support the idea, they would be happy rocking the place for sure
