Oh Anais, it was so incredible to be hearing them LIVE and all the way from Greece no less!!! How amazing is that, eh? I am surprised more ppl aren't commenting on my "blow by blow coverage" aaaaaaaahahahahaha!! The girls made a sign that said "Cristy sends her love" and they showed it to MJ and he smiled and gave it a thumbs up!! I cannot wait to hear the reviews, I can still hear their music in my ear!! And heart!

Cristy, I can imagine your "excitation" I can't imagine how I would feel if I receive a phone call of a Scorpions' concert.... I think I'd be so amazed! Thanks for sharing it with us.

I'll give a phone call to my father during Wind of Change at the next concert, I hope I'll find the signal during that moment...

Emilie, the girls took me by surprise cuz they never told me they were going to call me again in Crete. They called me in Athens and I knew they would, but not this time. And what is so cool is that I was ready to leave for the store!!! And the phone rang and my caller ID had Kate's cell phone number there and I said "NO WAY, NO FREAKIN WAY!!! and I answered and Kate said, Cristy just enjoy!!!! And then I proceeded to rawk my ass off for several songs!!!!!!! aaaahhhhh
BTW Emilie, have your Father call YOU and then hold up the phone for a few songs!!! It sure was so beyond awesome that I got to experience this. And when I heard MJ do the solo for No One Like You, I was trying not to scream too loud cuz of my neighbors!!! The man just amazes me with his solos, STILL!!!
Anyway, I cannot wait til next year when it will be MY turn to do this for my girls!! Hopefully, if I get to talk to MJ, that he will say hello to them on the phone, if I call them quickly. wooohoo!!

I heard it when I was on the phone with my girls! I hope your father calls you cuz how do YOU know when they are going to sing that song? For Crete, it was after the encore, so....

I 'll try to do short.
The week-end had very bad started Friday when the fligh of my friend had 4hours delay, result she missed the boat. I visited a bit Athens with my suitcase , 20 min on the Acropol, it was fast but I had only 5 hours between the flight arrival and boat departure. On the boat I met some greeks fan, like Antonis.

Saturday I'm arrive around 6h30 in Chania city center, My friend Céline is arrived 1h30 later by plane, no other way to be on time for the show. We had a breakfast, bought a ticket, found the hotel had a blessing shower and finally left around 13 o'clock to the staduim. There was around 20 fans waiting on the gate, later I will learnt that it was Katerina and her friends.

The stadium is very small and look like too a field lost in a middle of nowhere.
We where on the 1st row's middle. The barrier was very far from the stage .

About the show:
1st group (songs in greek)
Dokken was Ok. I think the show was very good, but I don't know the songs. James and Athena seems to be Dokken 's fan, they are stayed all the show on the back of the stage and rocked like people of the audience.
Firewind, I really liked them. I will go to see them again oneday. Some pyro effects during the show, it was very good. Rudolf watched the beginning of the show.

Scorpions was perfect like everytime and I found them in very good mood .
There wasn't the giant screan on the back, due the the wind, just 2 small on each side of the stage. The giant scorpion in decoration was missing too.

The audience, they enjoyed all the show but .... it's the 1st and last time I do a show in Greece.
The people are completly crazy and unfairplay !!!!!
They push, hit, crush everytime just to win 2cm. It's really crazy !!! I don't like this mind! In the middle of the barrier there was a "gate" with the cable under. When Klaus started to launch drumstick, this gate opened it due to the pressure. The security guys tried to repare it but it break 2 or 3 other times during the show. I was just by side of this gate, it was very strong to keep my position.
Close of Katerina some people started to fight cause of the pushing, and the secutity didn't care
At the end I was so angry that I shout.
Now, my body is very painfull, I know where was the barrier on my body, my shoudlers are painfull due to the bad postion, and my arms .... I got many bruises !

It was my 26th show of Scorps and the worst experience with the audience.
People have to learn respect and fairplay, if they want to be on the 1st row the must arrived early in stead of push, crush and hit the others.

So, I keep bad memories of this trip ( I forget to speak about the heat, around 35°C) but good memories too, like the Scorps performance, the meet with Don Dokken, the fast visit of the Acropol.
My deeper regret it to haven't seen dolphins
