Hi! Thank you Scorps for the show. It was great! For me it was very interesting to compare such 4 bands on stage. And in my opinion we could see that Alice' and Scorps' shows were much more impressive than KC and Rasmus. Cooper and Scorps seen as real headliners. It would be great if they play any song together.

Delphine and us, nice photo). http://picasaweb.google.ru/lh/photo/4ae ... 2PqBTewQLQ
It was a big pleasure to meet and talk to Delphine and her friend from Geneva. My friend and me met Delphine in the river bridge in the city centre by chance. We just paid attention at the girl in MJ t-shirt)))). Then we chased her and had a talk for an hour.
Delphine, see you somewhere in the road again!))

Hi Eugene,

Thank you for your positive review about the show.

It is superb that you met Delphine and Celine, yeah, they both are so nice girls.
Lol it wasn't "by chance", I mean your meeting, I don't believe in by chances.
Del and Celine needed help from russian fans, so you met by the fate.
I can imagine that your photos are great.

Hi everybody!
Just some words about show in St. Pete.
The day before the show me and about 15 fans from St. Pete and Moscow met the band in the "Pulkovo 2" airport. We had about 5-7 minutes to talk with them and to make some pictures. The band was in good mood. I was wearing "Kottak Attack" t-shirt and James was really happy when saw it on me.
I could get in the 2nd or 3rd row of the fan-zone so I was standing very close to the stage. The first band was Kingdom Come. As for the opening bands I liked Kingdom Come and Alice Cooper. I think AC was the best that night!
As for the Scorps I think it was their worst show that I've seen. Still the same problems with the setlist. There were no surprises at all. Just a little bit of new decorations which were already in Gdansk, 5 girls dancing during the "Tease Me Please Me" and a girl dancing during "Still Loving You". But of course it's not that real fans were waiting for!!!
Don't know what's happened to Matthias but he was in the very bad mood during the show and didn't even smiled. Even when he smiled it was unnatural. And in the end of the show he threw his guitar picks in the crowd with anger on his face.
So when I went out of the venue I had a negative emotions about Scorps performance. Never thought that someday I would write such review. Sorry no photos this time :?

Of course maybe at some moments he was happy but in general he wasn't so much happy during the whole show. I was there and saw it. Besides it was my 9th Scorps show. So after all I can differ band members mood. Anyway it's just my opinion. If somebody think it wasn't so or if the show was the greatest in someone's opinion - it's his/her own right to think so.
And who knows me well must know that all of my previous reviews weren't such bad as this one.

Thanks for your review, Scorpsfan from Odessa, and especially thanks for being honest!! We don´t have to cover with pink and gold whatever the band is doing and whatever the show is like! It is only natural that things don´t always go as planned and since they are human beings (however professional) it shows in one way or another. They are still far away from the bands who , on a bad day, look like they would rather be anywhere else than on the stage

Let´s hope that whatever was wrong, will not be there in the future gigs. Not only for the fans´ sake, but also for their sake. We love them and want them to feel good when they are playing on stage  RRRRRROCCKK OOOOON !!!! :D

I'm sorry to hear it was not one of the best shows you have attended. Everyone has an "off" day, maybe that was an "off" day for them?

Vladimir,

I am so very sorry for your disappointment.
Yes, fortunately I have been knowing you and your positive attitude since 2004, so I am so sad that you had negative experiences now, but Lenita is right, I also thanks for your honest opinion.
Nothing is just in white and black, and finally our guys also are just being humans with good and bad days like we all are.

I hope for you to see a much better show next time.

Hi ScorpfanUkraine,

There are some possibilities that the band members were not at their moment on any shows, I guess.
Like for example they were unhappy about the show time length or technical issues.
Or they didn't like to use the dancing girls just like the fans like you.
If the band members expressed dissatisfied with their emotion toward fans, it means they must have had a really hard time with the promoter or someone who organized that show. Just my guess though.
The band members usually don't want to involve their fans even they had very difficult situation.
Mr. Jabs was smiling all the time at the US shows last year even though he was suffering with the great pain in his finger.
And you said the band members were in very good mood at the airport so I assume that the band members had some kind of uncomfortable situation after that.
As my hope, I would like to think Mr. Jabs simply didn't like the dancing girls.

Are you going to go to the Moscow show, too?
I hope you will have the second chance to feel better with the Scorpions.
Other wise, we won't be ble to see your pictures with the band at the airport.
Could you search the photo link that you posted last year?
It seems like everyone in Russia use that phto site.
Please, please, please?

Anyway, I'm so sorry that you have to have such a dissaponting experience at the Scorpions show.
I wish this site was like Bon Jovi site becasue their fanclub leader is John's mama.
If the fans wrote the comments like this, she can spank the band members.

Thanks for your comments and for your understanding! You can protect them and think what was the real problem but I just wrote what I saw and described my feelings. For example I know that during the visit of Kiev in 2007 they also had problems with promoter but anyway their show was great and they were in a good mood. As Gabi wrote I always had a positive attitude to them. All of my previous reviews were only positive. I always write the truth.
I'm not going to Moscow show first of all because of my work. But even if I'll have time I won't go there. I don't want to see the same show again. I don't want to offend anyone but I really can't understand those who visit many shows during one tour as these shows are the same. I know it's great to travel, to meet other fans but to see the same show again and again seems crazy to me.
My dream is to see some kind of re-union show one day. I mean show with Uli, Michael, Herman and other ex-band members.

Too bad you couldn't go to Athens. That show is going to be greater than Wacken!!!

It's very possible with the tech issues, Matthias, being the consummate professional that he is; may have been less than pleased with his sound. Just an opinion. But since none of us knows what transpired behind closed doors, we will never know why he was upset. I am just so very glad that he had a great show in Rostov!!!! :P

Nothing special...just a typical tracklist for a big festival where not just the Scorps plays.

Are you kidding? This is a rather poorly designed setlist for a headliner. Too many long ballad periods and medium speed songs make it tedious to watch as a fan. Yes, the Scorps are great no matter what they play, but this setlist is not going to turn any heads.

They were planning to finish with When The Smoke Is Going Down but didn' play it for some reason.
