Read the history of the Performances: I almost was at that Tull concert in 71!!! When you read about Barry Fey, that man was theee man to bring back rock back to the venue and was considered the king among rockers!! It was a sad day when he retired cuz after that it's not been the same in rock bands being booked there. Cinderella almost performed there when I saw them in 92 and I was pissed when it was rained out and it was moved indoors!! I had won backstage passes and special seats which would have put me in the 3rd row!! The backstage party would have been beyond awesome at The Rocks!!
Anyway, I sure would love to see the boys there. Sherry and Kim and Sheryl already have. Now I am hoping them, me and Kat and Kristi can all be there when and if our guys hit that stage again!!!

Ironically, it's most famous for it's Easter Sunday Sunrise Services, where ppl brave the freezing cold to watch the sun rise up over the horizon. This Sunday it's supposed to be cold and rainy!!

I hope for all of the US fans that they will come over to play there... hehe and of course it would be great if they would play in May in California... but yes, yes I know that's really impossible - UNFORTUNATELY!
I rather think that they will play in 2010 in the USA again... because they will have a lot of concerts here in Europe in fall, I guess.

Without a doubt Scorps will hit Californiaaaa again. Unfortunately, that will piss off a lot of ppl, but I keep hoping and trusting that they will still have that "extensive" tour that MJ said they were working on. At times my hopes fail me and I think that our boys don't like coming here anymore. I don't blame them in a way. I mean the other night I saw the most horrendous band on SNL (Yeah Yeah Yeah, what a stupid name for a band cuz all I could say the whole time was NONONO!!! )and I sat there watching with my mouth open and my eyes wide with disbelief!!!!! If this is what America likes then no wonder our guys say "screw it" to coming here!!!!! But then I once again feel such hope for them to finally come here for that balls to the wall tour and hit the East Coast like they used to!!
BUT, they must give us what we are so screaming for and yes Sherry, I know that Kat and KC will be at Red Rocks next time and we all can meet up in Morrison and party for a bit, eh? Also, I didn't know all those others were there last time. What a place to hear Scorps!! OMGosh I can hardly imagine!!! And I would be down in front with my wheelchair at The Rocks!! I will cry if I can see them there!!!!

Cristy .... I saw that band on SNL and couldn't agree with you more ... ughh they were horrible! YUCK!

One thing though ... being someone who is protective of this band, their crew and their famailies ... I just don't understand anyone just giving up hope at anytime on them hun. That is so foreign to me. Never ever give up hope girl....never!

I know they will play Red Rocks again someday and it will be great to see all the fans there and rock out to them at the most magical venue on the planet!

Hey sweety, don't think things like this! I'm sure they love it more to play in the USA instead in Europe, except Russia. They lov to play in California, Russia and Asia. Sometimes we've to wait for a long time that they play here in Switzerland or Germany. When they touring America than you all have more possibilities to see them than us because they play so many gigs then. That's my opinion

you saw these two bands in this location? Wow! A concert of my two favourite bands.
I guess it was in '99. Then you can probably can answer a question. Who opened for who? Played the Crue first or the Scorpions?

Hans ~ Scorps took the stage first, then Motley Crue rocked the rest of the night, but Flash Bastard opened up before Scorps. It was a kick-ass concert, minus Flash Bastard, they sucked!! To see both of them on the same night was nothing short of awesome!

Now I'm hoping and praying Scorps come back to Red Rocks this year.

Kim ... don't you remember, Flash Bastard got boo'd of the stage. They even took to spitting and throwing trash on the fans in the first couple rows (hope you didn't get hit girl). Glad I was backstage at that time ... it was very interesting when they came off stage to the back stage area long story short that was the last time they opened on that tour. Scorps are too classy for an opening act like that. Later in the tour they added the open act of Laidlaw. Fantastic band with a great Lynard Skynard vibe!
