Toshiko's Day(s) Out(Photos+videos)

Greetings to Scorpion fans, one and all!

It seems like it's been forever since I've had a chance to write in the forum. First, I would like to thank everyone who were so kind to my wife, Toshiko, and I during our trip to the States in August. Konocti Harbor, Shoreline Amphitheater, Pacific Amphitheather, AVA, Myth Club, Fort McCoy, and Charter One Pavilion. Wow! What great memories! A good time was had by all, I think. It was great to see old friends and to make some new ones.

However, this week I am a bachelor. Toshiko is at Frankfurt Airport right now on her way to see the Scorpions' show to be held in Estoril, Portugal. She has six hours until her connecting flight takes her to Lisbon, which means she'll arrive there at 11:30 at night and then have a 30-minute car ride to Estoril. It's an acoustic show, which is something neither of us has seen before, at the Casino Estoril. (Is that next to Casino Royale?...Sorry, I am a 007 fan...)

So Toshiko has six hours to kill. She's always has been very good at being frugal so I'm not too worried about our credit card bill if she decides to use the time to do some shopping. (Unless, of course, there's a Scorpion goods shop in the airport...or if Mr. Matthias Jabs has opened a new guitar shop in Terminal 1.)

I hope all of the fans who are going to the Estoril show travel safely and have a good time!

Wow!! Toshiko rocks!!!

Long way from Japan to Portugal and she will see and hear Acoustica! I will wait for her review very much!

wow....im really speechless when it comes to you 2...man u guys are soo blessed to be able to go almost any where the band goes......

fhewww if it was me i would be screaming in shock all the way to every destination i go.

just in case, Rudolf, Matthias, Klaus , Pawel, James if any of u are reading this plssss give me(MALAYSIA to be exact)a date very very soon.we are bare and dry as the sahara as of now for a hard rock concert!! (p.s yes im desperate as a human being can be now)

Hi Rolf

I was so excited for Toshiko when I heard she was going to attend this show!

I will be anxiously awaiting all the reviews you are able to post for her while she is away from her computer and all the reviews she is able to post once she gets to a place with full internet access.

Howz it goin? Well our jetsetter is off again, eh? We can only wish her good fortune and many good rawkin moments with our boyz once again!! And our return will be an excellent review that we can tingle at while we relive it with her!! :shock:

It's me, Mad Dog and Toshiko's husband. I am sorry I have not written here since I opened this topic. I have read all of your kind and supportive messages and greatly appreciate what you wrote.

Toshiko is on her way home now. She is seriously sick, physically and emotionally, and cannot wait to come back. Right now she is stuck at Frankfurt Airport. Her flight from Lisbon to Frankfurt was delayed so she now has to wait for a different connecting flight which will stop over in Korea.
