[color=#8080FF]The Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in St. Louis (Maryland Heights) Missouri. It is an outdoor venue with 7,000 seats under a Pavillion and a lawn capacity of 14,000 under the open stars. [/color]

I wanted to add that while Verizon Amphitheatre is our largest venue, it is extremely hot and humid in the summer months, even under the pavillion. Many cases of heat related illnesses have occured there over the years. Also, there is absolutely no access to the busses, so those fans hoping to get the lucky chance for an autograph or photo with a band member will be very disappointed. Just FYI.

In 2002, when the Scorpions toured with Deep Purple and Dio, they were in Chicago on a Friday night in July, and 8 days later they were in St. Louis on a Saturday night. Completely at the last minute I went to the St. Louis show, and it was HOT! Was that at the outdoor venue that you were talking about? Unfortunately, I hadn't joined the forum yet at that point - otherwise we could have met.

Hey cool, I hope your prediction comes true!lol I met some awesome forum members at the last show. It was great! Yeah, Verizon is an outdoor amphitheatre. The sound is good but it's uncomfortable as hell and the security are overzealous. I'm not sure where Scorps played in 02, I had to miss that show. Wherever they play in St. Louis the next time, it will be wicked! St. Louis' biggest musical export may be Nelly, but we are first and forever a rock n roll city. And we loooove our Scorpions! Hope to see ya there.

Arenas with a co-headliner ?
Scorpions headlining with a smaller act ?
