yes FOS next step is FRANCE.... (they have the luck about having 4 dates ,some are far away but Rouen and Paris are 150 km .near..)

setlist is ok for me ....as long as DYNMITE stays in the concept...and now longing for the event how they gone put ULI into a nice 'Scorpions' jacket

My Friend, I´m is Spain, unfortunately I´m not this evening in Paris, our Trip starts on Friday to Paris and Saturday to Rouen to see the concert, see ya there!!

Are you already in Rouen or you are about to catch the train?
Today is the last day of the France shows and the Scorpions might be a little tired so they need extra cheer from you.

whaaaauuuuuwwwwwwwww here we come 3 2 1 ....

moment's' in millions years,... ROUEN 19/5/2007 up to france again this time... 'normandie'

full prepared with my cdplayer ,food,roadmap and portable telephone,camera,...car in perfect order...check and here we go in the urly morning 8.00. Like always the sun is shining and rock on the highway (no highway to hell ;-)

) but time to say 'hello humanity give me all your size... No needs to tell that the setlist will not be in a different way but SCORPIONS alive and kicking is my target. I had several contacts with friends all over so i was longing to see them on this tour...

After 4 hours driving i was ready to shout out my window yeahhhh 'zenith' we are here . I had the luck to have already the new cd and i can tell you it's a very good produced cd and every song is very well discussed. I had my scorpionsinfluenza under control with my music while i was driving. I had to drive on the coastline of france and that's near england (there is a pass underseas ) and i passed also many graveyards (with soldiers of WW II ) meanwhile i was thinking about the world upside down (more then 60 years ago the french and americans were fighting a huge war against germany, guess now a german band will play on the sand of france and every one is longing for now....)but that's history now , i had nice places to drive by but my car had to drive me savely towards Rouen.

12.00 arrived on time ...and like always my friends (bfan and nancy from belgium) were on the entrance 'the first fans came from belgium ??? strange no french peoples). I said hello with my car ;-)

)) i was glad to see them so we had the same problem already: parking closed, entrance close of course but nobody knows anything there...no posters no details just find the backstage intrance come on ...That is the only reason why we are so urly. Check point charly ;-)

) bonjour ca va... 'security man' what do you want.. i asked about the arriving of the band and about the stage technicians...engenering... 'i don't know, there is nobody here yet so wait OUTSIDE this place' . i said come on ask the tourorganisator or the locals when someone of the 'scorpions band' will arrive ... Ok he asked ?!!! and i had to wait 2 hours when someone would arrive. Olei the usual stuff ... lucky we had the sun and i parked my car with humanity cd on a private restarantparking... and my family of spiders flag on my car so when someone arrives we will be recognized ;-)

)
So waiting is good when you are longing for a treasure (meanwhile i had info to get in backstage....angels are always on earth thanks and 'merci' ) So i went back to mr security . No info man we are waiting...but i told him about my backstage and he was friendly to say ok you can go inside. WHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAUUUUUWWWWWW
this was another world...i had the luck now to see the backstage of the zenith Rouen. Great, i looked around inside but i was longing for wellknown people ;-)

) Inside there were only technicians and crew working hard... so wait is this mr Uli Roth...driving his car ...yes...he was . He was friendly and had a huge time to speak man it was 2 years ago i met him on a special evening in Belgium ...we had a great time... so he was helped by his technical man and his guitar was yes in a bag carried by the master himself!!! it was now 16.15 and the scorpions had to come he said.
i had seen the hours inside so no much time to left ...(17.00 soundcheck) ...and yes like usual the black cars arrived... The show was near to begin everybody moved now a little faster ;-)

) so was i . I had the ocassion to say hello and shake a hand to the band and they were very polite and friendly... I let them do their job ,so no pics no details ...i would meet them soon again...see you soon... with part II

I can imagine the view you saw on the way to Rouen.
I liked how you organized your things in the car.
It must have the great feeling to go on a trip for the Scorpions.
I can't wait for your second part of the review.

part II (this kind of review is to long ,sorry...)

after the arrival i had two hours to go before doors went open so i had to choose stay backstage all night long or going in the front with my friends during the concert... i decided to enjoy with my friends so i had to be there at 19.00.
upstairs the band checked their rooms ,so Rudolf was with Matthias and James was with Pawel so Klaus has his own room and between them there was a private place. They all went off and on to get prepared... i was with some press peoples and bussinesspeoples on the hall, The bandmembers were very polite and some peoples overthere wanted their attention but they were to bussy! They had to get the soundcheck now in 30 minutes. Rudolf and his girlfriend Tanya handshaked and he said he knew the family of spiders would be here tonight!!! He was glad to see we were back (to rock) Rudolf took the members to his room, so Klaus said oh yeah hi and Matthias was also running fast everyone there wanted something so i had a nerveous feeling about this. James came out and said ,yeah hi man i said come on and give us all you got tonight ,he stand still and said ok man you got it ,i asked him about the new cd and hour I . for me i like a hard drum beginning song so i asked him if he did this songbeginning so he said mr John 5 talked about this song (preparing) and yeah i gaved him this to begin so yeah it's awesome to begin with that now. Phonecalls came in and out so i left him and Pawel went out with his baseguitar ,he was very friendly, he asked were i came from and he was questioning me ;-)

) i just said that the FOS are proud that he is in with his solo together with James. He said yeah that is just the way i like it there is place for so i enjoy it very much. He wanted to see all my pictures i had with me on my album so ...meanwhile he was just jamming on his guitar ,strange isn't it. He signed his photo we took together in Paris 2005 so we talked about that event....and about the new cd.( And the new clip, but i knew)
I said for me!! it's a great cd ,very good produced but an american way of thinking. He understood my feeling and said he enjoyed very much the making of and the way he plays on it! Come on he said we go down for the soundcheck ...okay man here we go
17.00 soundcheck
i already saw the stage with many lights now and the huge humanity pics in the back and in the front. (it's no stage like the savage tour or monster tour but they did their best with those huge walls) All bandmembers went on stage and the PA was awake. I met Nono and Johan from crazyscorps ,i was surprised but glad to meet them. They were glad to be on the soundcheck so we were on the first row on a lazy chair full concentrated. So hour I ,exploded in the air . i gave them applause for this and Klaus was joking and said 'merci beaucoup' , he said we are playing for audience ...James was on his microphone trying to say ' it's time ' It was so funny to hear . Now the game of life followed also good but the guitars and technical stuff were checked like professionals of course and Rudolf tooks always for me the leading hand on it , i can not understand their german way of speeking but i felt that good is not good enough . Then the master of the 70 came on stage for In Trance and ...there we go off stage and cu.
Upstairs again reporting and calls to do and 'hanging peoples'. Matthias went out and said wait he came for a pic and i asked him if the pyramid can be done tonight...He smiled on the Matthias way and said i don't think ,and i said come on your young enough. A reporter disturbed our talking, he wanted to give him something and he presented him ; you know me from.... i met you there with.... lalalala Matthias said i met the whole world so it could be but i don't remember right now ( i think this guy was naieve to think Matthias can remember all those peoples) but he was still friendly. I let him do his job and said i will see him soon on stage full power! you bet . The restaurant opened for them so i let them eating in private although there were so many questions in mind ....
I talked with the tourproduction and they were very very nice , i saw the stage full organised for the show to come Grrrrrrr the dean guitar and Matthias guitars were ready to rock ,the drumkit was going to attack in several hours... i have to be prepared also for this evening so i had to eat and get sharp for this event loaded without alcohol ;-)

doors open , running peoples to get in and be in the front , i had my family of spiders flag on Rudolf 's place so my friends were also running and our place 'was' good. Edu from spain was missing i think he got lost somewhere or maybe he was prepared for this evening on another way ;-)

French fans were just pushing for more and more...grrr that ego 'tripping' (or me myself and i)
i hate that. But others were nice. I met some fans from 'crazyscorps ' cece,vaniscorps,nono,johan,...After two years of Paris 2005 it was nice to talk about this event for tonight and talking about the evening scorpions signing session (virgin megastore) Johan had a nice Matthias guitar with him signed ....hell yeah man....you got it just love it never leave it !! So countdown for Scorpions
Before mr Thomas Kieffer did his job all alone on stage ' electro,folk,live, experience,... He did songs with one guitar and many technical stuff 'sampling' live and made this songs live. He played a riff and recorded it and played something differents recorded, and so on untill he composed a total song. Good but hard to get 'The Zenith' on his feets. I appreciate what he did.
come on ,come on, SCORPIONS....stage preparing and check up from the boss.
21.15 James tried to get in undercover but WE SAW him so new intro music (end of humanity)
and DJENG DJENG DJENG DAMNED IT WAS LOAD AND CLEAR
Setlist was the same of Dijon so no need to repeat maybe after for the details
-hour I klaus was sharp and good concentrated and the band was attacking us with thas song, James was amazing
-the game of life is good live!!! i liked it very much and Pawel was also in a good night
I had the feeling that all songs were played with rock amusement. realy this concert i felt that it was fun although it was sometimes very loud to understand , on he is a woman it was to load for me...
The master played on him way, standing and enjoying what he is doing...so what even without his mediator (plectrum he lost) he played 'fly to the rainbow full' no need for help he wanted to play on with his fingers....and Matthias played also the for song with Uli full fun!!!! he saw we were watching him during this event !
we got a full Holiday with the traditional playing games with the public but they played full with backing singing of the audience ;-)

Dynamite was for me a total loss moment so it was crazy
During the concert Rudolf played in front of us longing with his fingers to say hi and showing his guitarmovements... Matthias played with the audience and he saw we followed his guitar riffs on a moment we rocked with our hands on his guitar rythme ,he just smiled on every right moment 'awesome' again and again...yes he moved this time many times from left to the right!
Klaus did many Klaus dancings on his typical way and they teased and pleased us all the way long...
Pawel did a very good solo with James : just do this every time ...it's rock it's fun it's awesome...
James was happy and in the middle of the concert i was turning around with my hand ,he smiled and did a trick with his drumstick and made a huge James animal look...he smiled and after that he was longing with his drumsticks to us..
Damned i had a great night it was good ,all fans were rocked up to the zenith.... everybody was glad with that concert ....
so part III will follow asap

I like you discribed the detail when you were at the venue.
The Scorpions sounded really busy that night.
