Humanity in Brussels belgium 24/3/07

this is wonderfull.....

in the urly afternoon we were driving under a grey sky but had one vision....THE SCORPIONS...alive ....in Belgium ...

Arriving very soon, the venue was just amazing with our monument in Brussels (http://www.atomium.be) full of stage and lightingmaterial. When i walked i passed the Backstage and asked about the band...oh yeah yes they already passed away after the rehearsel... (damned...). No further answers about when or with who they could play. The security was very polite but as we know in belgium no further answers. So i walked around the venue to find the entrance...seems we were soon enough and it was a perfect place with camera's more the 15. and a stage...too far . So hold on after some minutes my friend bfan and his wife Nancy arrived . Yeah our first meet in our own country. They are very kind persons and we talked abour you know..the band..and had some stories. So we waited and hoped to hear the band...but seems they did NOT yetplayed a rehearsel... HOLD ON
what is this , seems Nancy had a wonderfull vision ...this is Klaus i see him yeaaaaaaa
WE all went out of our... we wanted to be seen and the security let us be our selves ) Pawel saw us and he waved and now they seemed to be ready.....
SOFTLY the voice of KLAUS was on the sky ,wonderfull our 'premiere' of the new song 'humanity'...we were thinking about the FOS and said that this moment is something special never to forget...
so one try out and a full song and directly they played SLY as we know for years but we had our warming up
Still some hours to wait for the entrance ,as soon as we saw the sign of the security we run fast as we could each one a controlpoint so HURRY (bfan is a fast guy )
final moment in front was hit, so another 4 hour to wait...every band did a check up...countdown for the live broadcasting (hi Fos we are just behind the family of spiders flag ...)
here we go
one ,two and yes Scorpions had to arrive
we were already sharp and Klaus saw us standing waved and Matthias stood in front ready to rock the humanity song.
GREAT feeling (like in Humanity topic)
we were seen by our belgian tv and said that the belgians fans were kicking and present, what else
in front of the camera's we had to be there (called promo !!!)
after this song we waited one hour to hear SLY
but meanwhile i had a phonecall of my friend and he asked if i had something to tell and i said yes the new song is just amazing good ,well you tell it to Pawel, he is here ????!!!!!!!!
So hi ,yeah the new song is very good i said, he answered how are you and thank you ...THE NOISE of the other music was to hard so i had to hang up but yeah this was kicking.........
Before SLY the band was preparing the take of ,so they had the time to salute us very politely...THANKS... even our king and queen and the royality fellows were enjoying SLY...
50.000 peoples (but i saw just 5 rocking scorpions)

wonderfull but over....we were quiet..........

BUT the feeling of the new song and the beginning of 2007 was there

info about the band:
well they had to travel fastly to BERLIN so we left the evening with a humanity feeling
the security was very hard just because 'royalty'protocol
i took some pictures (no digital) so the band is playing just one song so pictures or having rocking fun...

i missed kavr and kristof but thanks to bfan and Nancy FOS we had a night to remember...

and you are a very kind person too.
we knew that even before we met you.
when we came home last night we directly put on the dvd to watch that
incredible new song.

Pablo ) you have good eyes but now i can say that Klaus can sing this song without playback (in the rehearsels he was live and sharp, or am i just too naieve)
Marc, i watched the dvd also at night, crazy yeah,we have to rock longer...so we can do that in Rouen /and a fast review is only the best promo (fans are doing the promo here )

Thanks for your great review (as usually).
I "was watching" the broadcast by a hungarian chanel, and thought of you all three during the songs.
I am glad that you had an unforgettable night.
Lol, I was thinking during the show, that the Scorps was a part of a quite mxtured starcompany to play lol.
Big parts of the show consisted of absolutely popsingers and bands with popular popsongs which are my 13-year-old niece's fav stufs, for example lol.
Ok, but the most important part was Scorpions for us Fos, and they were perfect at that night.
You were lucky to enjoy the atmosphere live there.

Haii have seen you !...But just on television!Pity enough,i was thinking this must be Ron!The FOS flag,everywhere to see
I have been there to with my wife and children,but we arrived much to late,we first wanted to rest the children,because it gonna be late...we arrived there in the area looking for parking place,and driving around and around,everywhere full,a lot of people and police everywhere.When we finally found something even very close to the Atomium next to Kinepolis,we walkied in the direction of the place,we were at the backside of the stage,then they were playing I got you babe,later i seen at home,our scorpions already been on stage,we asked the way to get in 20 meter from backside stage,he told it was still 25 min walking to the entrance,but he recommanded not to go there still because there was a lot of people and a lot of pushing ,because we were there with 2 small children,we hang out a little bit overthere and we return back home!Very pity,not seen the premiere of the new song live,and not have the chance to stand next to the Fos Flag,to meet Ron and BFan,really sorry,hope next time better!
You know what's the secret of eternal youth! MUSIC!!!!!!!!!
Pity enough i can't be there at Rouen,I will go to Arrow!Hope to meet there some FOS!

hi flupke man heb je Bart peeters gehoord met zijn fanclub...hahahaha we kunnen ons oren niet geloven maar ja we stonden daar al van twee uur in de namiddag en als de repititie van scorpions begon waren we 'total loss'

man je moet mee naar Rouen tzal er de max zijn : de belgen zullen er verwend worden!!!!!!!!!! hoop ik!!!!!!!!!!
