Thanks, Tom! I will be sure to check out the replay of it this weekend. I always love it when the Scorps are on Rockline. Back in the "good old days", when this forum was more active, people were online on the forum while listening to the show and calling in, and Toshiko got on. I think someone else from here (I can't remember who) got on as well. I was always too chicken to call.
I heard a lot of the show, but in bits and pieces. I think they said that they are trying very hard to bring the unplugged show to America - that they love their American fans and want to come back here if they can make it happen. (Of course I would go see it, but I'd rather have a rock show if I could choose!)
The other interesting thing they said was that they are not planning on doing any solo albums. Klaus and Matthias both said that there was no point, unless you thought you could do it better or do something different. They said they didn't think they could do better than what they have been doing together with the band all these years, and that the reason that they do projects like the unplugged or the orchestra shows was to "mix it up" a bit and do something different, so it's not always the same thing, and its' not boring to them. I'm paraphrasing, but I think it was something like that. I will listen to the whole thing this weekend - I think you can listen to past shows for a couple of weeks after the show airs.
It was good to hear them on Rockline again. Reminded me of the old days when I would wait for it to be on the radio, and then be glued to the radio for 2 hours so I wouldn't miss a word. And I'd be recording the show on a cassette player.
