Im sure many of you have alreaydy heard/seen this video, but could somebody help little bit to translate Matthias answer to very interesting guestion, from time 6.18. First Matthias dont hear the guestion, but then the interviewer asks again. There is just that dubbing that makes it inpossible to hear what Matt says.

- Is it thuth that 2 months ago Matthias Jabs said that you won't split up at all?

- I've never said we're gonna split up. The thing you're talking about means we're at this final stage of the tour. You need to remember that we are on the constant tour for the last 34 years. We;ve been touring for these years, more or less. The '79 was the beginning of it and from this time we've never stopped. Coming back to your question, I just meant that now, when we're slowing down, there's the time for other things. Of course we'll always support each other but we'd really like to start individual things, the new projects.

And I have been trying to get an answer about that on FB......I heard the same thing the interviewer did, that Matthias said in an interview that they were DONE. That they were not going to be coming back with reunion after reunion like another band he knew and he laughed, giving me the impression it may have been KISS he was talking about. I don't know, but MY recollection is that the band was fully retiring as Scorpions, THEN when they saw, as Matthias said later in ANOTHER interview, this "resurgence of fame", then is when they said they would just slow down the touring. I am trying to put this across as nice as possible cuz truly I am not wanting anyone to misunderstand me, I am simply curious if I heard what the interviewer heard, that at the beginning of their RETIREMENT announcement, we all heard that this was a done deal.
Thx for the translation cuz I too was very curious as to what he answered. However, if I may make an observation? He looked very uncomforable AFTER that question. My thots were that he did say that and he either didn't remember he said it OR he remembered he said it and now he had to dodge the bullet as we say here. Lighten up Matthias, it's all good. So what if you said it and then later the band decided another course....that's what humans do, they change their minds. No biggee, yeah?

Yes there is some diplomatic in those answers lately...but what I`m so happy is that, if there is that change that Scorpions don`t really stop their career like it seems, thats just so great!!!

Lets be happy for them, that their success is bigger now than mayby it was few years ago and if they are going to record those old songs with this lineup and maybe do some gigs here and there, thats exacly what at least I dreamed to hear, when that retiment annoucment was first time given.
