I just posted a New Topic about Total Number of Concerts attended, Most in One Year, and Number of Countries, visited, Concert farthest away from home..made me think might be good beginning to interview question..would add What year did you first become interested in Scorpions, What were the Circumstances??

The answer to that for me would be 2007, when I met Drew. I missed a lot of the 80's music, because I was raising 4 sons during that time, watching Sesame Street, hanging out at playgrounds, baseball games and schools. Maybe, that's why I love the Cookie Monster Metal Youtube??

If you ask everyone how, when and where or whatever, hun, it would make the commentary too long, don't you think? I still stand by a short synopsis from each fan. Have you Beth and Joanne and Curry come up with a proposal for Amend and MJ?

A written proposal to interview MJ at his store should be put in writing to look more professional and official. And to Amend to, in case there may be LEGAL issues involved. Which as fans, this should be OUR right to interview fans and film things.

And why not me? Cuz MJ and I may communicate, and I consider him a friend, but I do too much for him as far as promo and adverts for MJG (even tho he doesn't recognize it officially) AND I am too involved with trying to be "heard" if you will in regards to being taken seriously and I have proposed so much to him throughout the last 5 1/2 years that I am tired and I just don't want to ruin this project by once again proposing anything more to Matthias. For once, let someone else do it. Please?

I am bumping this up cuz I think it's one helluvan idea!! Now if you don't want to be part of it, that's up to you, but for those who think they would love to take their vidcam and become an amatuer videographer and be part of this project, let Beth know. There is Poland coming up and Mexico and some others....Munich HOPEFULLY will be worked out with the venue and be on the date as scheduled since we have some fans already doing Munich. But come on....here is your chance to do sthg for the boys before this year is out and we may not see them anymore.
I already know that Adrian is going to be in some places and my girls in Brazil, etc. So where are you all now when you're being called upon to serve our Scorps? COME ON PEEPS!! GET ON THE SCORPS BANDWAGON AND HONOR OUR BOYS BY HELPING WITH THIS FILM PROJECT!! please?

Well that's good Gabi, except he will probably be in other cities, if history proves to be true. And so I would love to see him and more folks join in this endeavor to bring the fan's perspective of seeing a great band on their last tour.
I just wish we had started this at the beginning of the year so that we had more places, especially North America, in the film. sigh....dang. Oh well, let's hope ppl on here care enough.

Beth, you should present this on FB. Do you know how many on there would JUMP on this?

But we also need a design plan with a list of things to do before any of this goes for the pro video stuff.

Wouldn't it be kinda sorta combined? And no of course you can't force anyone to do it, but I thot maybe people were being standoffish cuz they thot maybe they weren't part of it. I wanted to bring home the point that anyone can do it and go to you or Beth or Curry to start this baby going. That if they want to be part of "history" if you will, then do it!!!!
And Beth, there are soooooo many on FB that aren't on here and they are incredibly passionate about the boys!!

I guess I'm not getting it....how are we going to make an entire film without the fans? I am too distracted right now I suppose with waiting all this time, only to watch the boys on Livestream with those bimbos grinding on the metal grinders on stage like some Britany Spears production!! ugh!!! double ugh!! Plus distraceted that I have to go workout at the gym before it closes. AND cuz I needed to shop today and I stayed home for sthg I coudn't even enjoy!! hahaha sorry for b****in...but that Livestream sucked!! Mine did anyway! I got probably less than half of what was played out of thsoe 3 songs!! Loved that statue tho. AND I was glad to hear Coming Home...well partially anyway!! And for the cameras to forget that there was a lead guitar player in the band most of the time??? sheesshhh!!

Anyway, you can explain it to me later via PM you guys, cuz to me how are we going to get the fans interviews without other fans? I would need to see a bullet sheet, ya know?

Some of us have been trying to fine tune this project, the more I get involved in it the more I hope it will take off and fly. Here's a summary of what we've been discussing and a FB Page is being set up, still being fine tuned also, and will be able to post when all is set up. It's really been a great collaboration. Drew and I had joked about on line dating sites and Drama from people saying or doing things they wouldn't normally do, and there is a bit of that on any online situation, that angle of human behavior is definitely an interesting part of this film idea. But there's also the good synergy that has come from bringing like minded people together who normally might meet, and that is part of the story here.

When you look at the Film page you can see the plot and objectives, but here is a summary:

Goals:
1) Give a history of how the fan base developed-and the interaction both with the band and online
2) Preserve an account of how the Scorpions have affected the world, from our perspective, for future fans and people who have no idea what they're about, and think they're an 80's Hair Metal Band especially in North America (sorry, but I was one of those) .

Plot:
1) Interviews with fans, both small, and with the people who know the history of the Official fan clubs..probably should reach out to all to give longer videos about how those evolved and why.
2) tell the story of trying of us trying to get the Scorpions to get involved and play at the beginning world Convention, as part of a continuation of their music and our staying involved with each other as fans and like minded people. Curry this even incorporates some of the ideas on your Dreams Topic. especially if we try to have the biggest meet and greet in the world, someone's dream on there is for as many fans as possible to meet them, well the convention would include an party I think.

Help Needed from the Forum:

1) I would like people who know the history of how the Fan Base developed, and also the forums in other countries and why..I know of Tom, Scott...but not sure of others who might be able to contribute..If you are reading this, and you are one of those original fans, please provide a longer video maybe 5 minutes, so we can try to put that together..if someone wants to suggest who I should contact, post here or PM me.

2) For the rest, I have had a hard time contacting The Scorpions themselves, or "management" to propose this idea to, and also the hopes for the First World Scorpions Convention and hopefully a Concert/M&G, the footage to be included in this film. Or maybe even several "Conventions" to kick off the continuation of their music, at this point in their career.

Well, girls.. Everything sounds nice, but..

.. I can`t help proffecionally. I mean, all I can do is to give some ideas. I`m not into writing official proposals, as well as anything else but pure, volunteer help with a non-pro camera. And, since Munich is not very sure now, I don`t know from where we should start. We can always ask some die-hards as Adry and Del to shoot before and during the shows they`ll attend, but still.. it will be unproffesional.

How do you see my "role" in this project, cause I don`t see myself as a vital part of it. I`ll help as much as I can, but.. that`s all..

Curry, you've been a great help with ideas and if you can submit a video, great. I was acknowledging your part so far, especially since it seemed you and Joanne were to meet in Munich..sorry that Munich is unsure now, I hope it works out!

I'm not sure where this project is going either, may end up being a nice compilation and history at the very least, but that is stil wonderful to me. I'm surprised at the response on Facebook, it seems to be growing every day, so it remains to be seen.

I have always known that there were many fans on FB that don't want to come on here. But with that said, we need participation. I know I can't force anyone to videotape anything, but here is not the place, obviously, to elicit any help in this project. Also, I don't think that here is the place to even discuss it anymore. Just my opinion....it's not being received at all. Much more passion is on Facebook, just sayin......

I'm trying to get as complete a list as possible of world fan clubs..I googled it and it led me to a 2009 topic here with two posts...this list: and a link to a Scorpions Family site here on the website..but it couldn't be translated from German by my Google translate, so wasn't sure what was on there.
