Let`s do it! Birthday video for Klaus! 1 month to do it!

I know Christy, that it is Rudy`s day which is comming - in august. But Enya`s idea is after the Munich show (which is in October) to shoot a common FOS video.. And since Rudy`s BDay will be already passed then and Matt`s will be comming... :wink:

I am not in charge.. Gosh, this sounds so.. I just collect and put all the vids in common. But, Joanne has a wonderful ideas about the new vid (Rudy) and she can work with video programmes too, so... Well, there is still a time. Let`s not hurry so much..

I know this Curry, I already said all that.... But I was just getting things started with having the FAN'S suggest different ideas of how the video should be for Rudolf's. And about MJ's, will the rest of us have the chance who aren't going to the Munich show? Also, there are others who can work with vid programs as well if one person can't do it.

I had read or watched an interview where Klaus said he loves waterfalls and beautiful beaches...so maybe we all can do something like that...just an idea hugs nunny!

No activity here. That is sad and we have just a few weeks. So, the collaboration between me and J gave birth to this:

- we want this time to have a certain scenario, cause some people talk way too much and we don`t wanna get him bored, right (if he watches at all )?

- Wishing "Happy Birthday" in your own language - that would be fun, if we get people from all around the world, and that`s the main aim

- After wishing "HBD" may be just add a sentence to wish him something (in English) and really not too long

- Plan B: may not be added, in case the video is tooooo looongg, but.. it`s good to have that as a back-up. Everyone should say 1 or 3 /we`ll see later/ words which, according to you, describes Klaus. Or 1/3 words which you connect with Klaus.. Then it can be made as a mixture and would be fun too...

I like Nunny`s idea about the nature, so everyone, who lives near waterfall, can do it there

Please, give some ideas, if you have, so we would figure things out and start working!

as far as I remember some of us did it last time too - and it's a really great idea!

and I also like Gemini's idea to shoot a video on a beautiful landscape - though i doubdt if i can make it this time - coz for the next 3 weeks i'll work without a holiday -so the only landscape I can make is my office's one, or put a tourists' catalogue picture behind me -but let's see -anyways I'll make it in the nearest time - so, girls - Curry, Joanne - to whom should I send the video or it doesn't matter?

Oh, my dear friend. I feel so ashamed now. I really didn`t mean my post to sound that way. Damn language barriers. Idea is to have really a loot of people this time, a lot, a lot, a lot.. from everywhere.. every single part of the world. So, if we manage to do it and collect so many videos, it will be too long - over 40 min. and even more, so we just though to try to keep it as short as we can (if we are so many this time). But, unfortunately, people - till now - are not very active

Sure... We did it - wishing Happy Birthday in our own languages - as well in our common Juze-Adry-me video. But we still hope to gain more ideas from the FOSers, that`s why we made this topic active even earlier... Not good result though, again no activity... Anyway, if you or anybody else, have other ideas and suggestions, please share

I sent my birthday video in. I hope you and joanne got it...I couldn't get to the waterfalls up here coz its a 5 mile hike and I wouldn't be able to stand near them for the video so I went with a river background..i hope Klaus likes it..love ya Klaus! hugs nunny!

I understood your idea so well - and I totally support it - to make short, but as many as possible, wishes for Klaus - just to say a few words, but with a big sense -otherwise indeed it will become too long and boring -and that my post was just a joke on myself! coz indeed, sometimes ( esp when it comes to really special subject/person for me) I really can talk about it for ages and totally forget that it may become at least boring to others ... so that was just a reminder for myself,
and this time i'll be more laconic

Oh Curry you are definitely too hard on yourself! The idea is to get as many people as possible to send Klaus Birthday wishes and a short message to him. I'm sure everyone understands!

We need to invite more people to join us - it's funny (really) how people have time to watch/post YouTube videos yet they can't find the time to take less than 30 seconds to say "Happy Birthday Klaus!" with their cell phone and send it in.

HUMANITY - come on people.
