The Milwaukee show on June 30th isn't listed on the tour page. I assume its so Summerfest can announce it seperately as they like to do, at least I hope so.

It looks like there is already another group playing at the main amphitheater for Milwaukee Summerfest on June 30th. (Lady Antebellum). So maybe it's not going to happen for the Scorps on that day. There is only one main large venue there... unless I am mistaken. Here is a photo of the grounds, you can see- only 1 large amphitheater.

Last time in 2010 they played the Harley stage ...... Yeah they estimated about 80,000 people while they had some joke of a thing in the Marcus (American idol or something like that) that they were giving tickets out for free cause they only had like 7,000 poeple in there . I hear there's a brand new rock stage this year but it's still small compared to the Marcus . Anyway at least it's only $16 to get in but you have to wait through 5 bands of usually crap and a bunch of drunks fighting there way up to the front around 9pm . So even if you were waiting there for 6 ,7 hours you will still be pushed away by the hoard of drunks . :(

But other than "the bunch of drunks fighting their way up to the front around 9pm" and the fact that "even if you were waiting there for 6 ,7 hours you will still be pushed away by the hoard of drunks," ... everything was just great, right?!?!

Does anyone have a stress-free strategy for the Milwaukee venue? Has anyone been to a larger-attended venue at what sa5150 refers to as "the brand new rock stage?" Is there Lawn seating, where you can bring some chairs - and maybe some beer? Does anyone know?

Hints, strategies, and tactics for an enjoyable Milwaukee event - without the aforementioned drunks fighting their way up to the front," where I could bring my kids with and not be concerned about a hassle?

Let me know. . . .

I actually got an email from Summerfest telling me they are playing a different stage but they just added them on the main page with a few other bands. Wish I could make that show!
