Bought this blueray dvd on Tuesday, Jan 24.2012 put it in today to watch it and the disc was bad on track 14-Kottak Attack; the sound started to go in and out and the picture was breaking up.I took it out and took it right back to best buy were i purchase it, I returned it and got another one. I went right home put it in went right to track 14 and the same thing happen.I think it is a promble with the manufacturer of the blueray disc.I hope best buy doesn't give me trouble returning it for my money back.I hope the Scorpions are aware of the problem and they have it fixed.I'm so bum out over this. what a awesome disc up to that track.I hope someone looks at this forum so they are aware of this.I bought it at best buy in New York.It came out tuesday.Has anyone had the same problem?

Regards
Bob :(

I was at Best Buy the other day, and just saw a blu ray. Is there a DVD as well? Will there be soon? Please let me know, thanks.

GOOD STUFF

Watch it last night with some friends and they loved it. Watching it in 3D is by far the best way, but its still a great Scorpions concert in regular Blu Ray. They should of made a regular dvd version to.

I also bought a disc that had the same problem on track 14 so I returned it to where I bought it.[I sent a message to Legacy Recordings to let them know about the problem btw]........I bought another one today[2/29] so i've got my fingers crossed that it doesn't happen again. It happened a 2nd time and also happened with the new Joe Satriani disc[must be a problem between my Blu ray player and receiver with discs that have both 2D and 3D on the same disc].

It did happen again[btw the player I use is a Samsung BDP-1500]......I've sent another message to Legacy Recordings about the problem this time I mentioned what player I use.[if anyone else has the same problem i'd recomend sending them a message also]........I took the disc back to where I bought it[I won't get another one until the problem gets fixed......if it ever does].

I just picked up my copy from Amazon.com and it did not come with the 3d glasses. When i watch it I do not see any of the 3d-shadowing that should be there. (The reddish ghosting). Almost feels like my copy is a regular 2D video and there is nothing in my menu about 2D or 3D version. Now I am watching this on my son'd PS3 which plays Bluerays so that might be it too.

Anyone experience this?

Well I did some research and found out the following. This is not the traditional 3d where you can just pop on the old 3d glasses. You need a 3d blueray player and a 3D hdtv along with the fancy plug in 3D glasses. So once again someone very few people will have and thus very few will get to see this 3D experience.

Hey Drew, I posted this some time ago when Matthias let me know that you needed all this stuff to view it in it's format they intended it to be. And yep, including special 3D glasses. Now ppl are saying oh it's just fine without the HDTV and to an extent that's true. BUT, that's cuz they haven't seen it properly!!! I informed MJ that most folks won't ever be able to see it in the correct format cuz they can't afford all that ***. sigh....Yet another way to make that final buck before Scorps are gone! And with all those who are putting out the exhorbitant money for M&Gs and such, it just feeds the greedy pig. :(

Hi

PowerDVD will convert this 3d blu-ray to the traditional anaglyph Red/Cyan format it works extremely well. Just hook your laptop or PC to your HDTV, plug in the disk, go to 3d settings and select Anaglyph Red/Cyan and enjoy.

Thanks

SeaFoodSting.....the major problem is the NOT having the HDTV!! I know plenty of ppl who can get the BluRay but not the TV, which I was told was a huge ingredient!

Well we know they can't make money from selling 3D HDTV's and such so I'm sure that was not the plan here. I was just thinking if the management team really took into account the very few people that currently have such a setup? I don't think I know of any. Maybe in Germany and the Asia they are more abundant, but I am not aware. Oh well, maybe one day I will save up for a 3D HDTV as I'm sure lots of the newer movies and concerts will be coming out that way.

There are alot more 3D movies being made now and probably in the future all TV's and blu-ray players will have 3D technology and the price will come down like alot of electronics eventually do. So it's a good thing that they have made "Live in 3D." It will be able to be enjoyed for years to come. It's great, I LOVE it and I hope they make more!

It's a good thing for sure, but I for one can't even afford the DVD right now. So an HDTV is sooooo far in the future for me, sthg else will be invented to replace it before I can afford one. haha
