Alizee, "underrated" is a term that means they weren't rated ENOUGH. So when I say, for instance, Matthias Jabs was an underrated guitar player, I mean he wasn't rated as much as he should be. So an underrated band means they should have been rated higher than they actually were. The writer is actually giving the band accolades and that they are not given enough accolades by other writers or mediums.
But truly, there is sthg seriously wrong when they can't get the numbers HERE as they do in Europe. It's no wonder they don't care for us as much. Plus I think they hate the loud talkative American girls. haha j/k
When MJ tells me that they drew 35,000 in Bulgaria, can you imagine how that makes me feel? Shame!

Plus the band owes the fans a true farewell CD..Sting in the Tail is a good CD but not a great CD...

I don't know about this statement, it depends on people actually... I find it to be a great CD...What do you think is lacking so it is not a great CD to you? ( kinda interesting to know your point of view)
Besides isn't this long tour around the world with so many tourdates a proof that this is a deserved farewell for the fans?

Well first off the USA release only had 11 songs and it was about 44 minutes long. So if it's a truly final CD make it a special release with alot of songs and maybe a double disc set. And one thing that is making me mad is this new special edition release of Sting in the Tail with bonus tracks. Why ask fans to go out and buy a few versions of the CD. Have it on one edition and stop ripping the fans off by having us spend our hard earned money on multiple versions of Sting in the Tail.

The songs on SITT are very good but we need longer solos from Matthias..Sting in the Tail to me is still far behind Love at First Sting,Blackout,Animal Magnetism,Lovedrive,Crazy World and Face the Heat as the top studio CD's from the Scorpions

Sorry i forgot to answer the tour question...i have no problems about the current tour. It is great that they are finally playing a full tour and not just 40-50 shows a year like they have been doing the past 10 years. so no complaints from me at all..

It's just going to be very hard for the guys to really say goodbye in 2012..I just can not believe they can go on the rest of their lives without doing some shows at some point down the road as a band. I completely understand not doing another studio CD. Studio CD's are a thing of the past. Maybe you are lucky to get one new song on the radio for a few weeks but after about a month nobody except the diehard fans really care about new music. But touring i could see them doing that for another 10 years.

Scott, Amend keeps taking such huge chunks out of the sales that they had to hire ILAA to make up some of the profits for the guys and crew!! They also STILL don't give us what we deserve, being the place that put the boys on the World map!! We are given so much less than the rest of the world it's a disgusting shame.

And if they really quit, it won't be long before they are back with sthg to put them back in the spotlight. Esp. MJ. I just can't see him not being on stage, being the performer, playing his guitar in front of an audience. It's his drug!! Esp flirting with the women. ha!
