Just checked out Uli Jon Roth's site and see he's opening for his former mates and plans to play a couple of tunes with them. The first time playing together live since The Tokyo Tapes Album '78!!
I'm soo jealous!!! It's in Colmar France..Sept. 10. You can see for yourself at http://www.ulijonroth.com
I've been hoping to see them together since 74. But thanks to RCA records that didn't promote the band on this side of the ocean I missed out on seeing the greatest rock band ever!! Cause as good as the current Scorpions lineup is now it was the best when Uli Jon Roth was the lead guitarist(sorry Matt). All the songs have stood the test of time and I can still listen to them now and feel the music lift my spirits!! Anyway keep on rocking boys I still love you!

Yeah, There are some fans in the forum who are going to see the fantastic show in Colmark.
I am sure that it will be an unforgetable experience for those who will be there.

I will be there too with my great hungarian friends! I can't wait the show! As a matter of fact I am just 31 years old and I still haven't seen the Scorpions together with Uli Roth because of my age. I have so much great Official Releases and I like that era very much!!! Uli is an amazing guitar player...a genious! I think this show will be one of the greatest points in my life. I will never forget this! I will put my fingers cross for any great 70's songs what I would like if the band should play there! Besides there will be a big FOS meeting so this tour will be the real holiday for me in this summer!
