I just got answer from one of the organizer at the Scorpions-concert in Vaasa, finland. I asked if there were any possibility to meet the guys. Like a media-occasion or backstage or anything. The answer was:

"Sorry we have to disappoint you. The demands of their privacy are very high. THEY DOESN'T WANT TO MEET ANYONE"

I'm really disappointed about that.. I understand why but..

I don't think they don't want to meet fans, that just can't be true, 'cause Scorpions are the most friendly band in the world and they are always open for meeting the fans. In my opinion, organizers told you that becouse they want to avoid large number of people who want to meet them...

That is (has been) my opnion of Scorpions also, but I've never met them so.. maybe not? But ofcourse it would be stupid if the 'organizer' answered: Yeah! meet them at ... at... pm..

But anyway.. How could I now see them?

I agree

Remember the 2004 USA tour? People complained about the Meet & Greet, criticizing how it was too short and impersonal. What did the band do? They changed it, making it a longer and more personally interactive event. The fact they even organized such events to begin with says a lot about how they feel about meeting their fans.

Izabelle, if there is no "organized" meet the band opportunity, you can always arrive early and try to greet them as they get off their bus. Good luck

yes I agree with you, they said that because the organizers (NOT THE SCORPS) don't want to be bothered

Do not blame the Scorpions. I believe the Scorpions enjoy meeting their fans. I think the organizers are the ones who do not want the fans to meet the band because they do not want to take on the responsibility of providing the security for the meet and greet.

I totaly agree with Jacque and others here.
Don't blame the Scorpions, the answer you receiwed from organizers was just an official one, but you always can find the suitable way for meeting as others have done it.
I never have meet the Band yet, but i believe in fans' storis in the forum in more than 1000%.
I know that the Scorpions consists of wery friendly guys and if they just have chance and time enough to meet the fans,
they never close the way from the fans.
Just take some try and i am sure you will be lucky.

Don't take no for an answer.
All you have got to do is believe and you can do it.
We have been very lucky at the last few shows.
Las Vegas, Milwaukee, San Jose, Detroit, Denver, Freiburg and Krefeld.
I am also quite sure we will party with them in LA (Costa Mesa)
Don't give up. Make it happen.
