well, i find that Malmsteen has puts a lot of feeling in EVERY song he is doing. If he plays fast, it doesn't mean that he doesn't care about the feeling. but don't expect the same type of feeling when you listen his fast songs as when you listen ballads. dont expect long sustained notes with lot of vibrato in a fast song. every fast song has a lot of feelings too, but they are not showed in the traditional way. by traditional way, i mean slow ballads with deep vibrato and sustain as i said before. when people hear that type of solos they say : ah, this player has a lot of feelings and stuff. yeah but there are other ways to express your feelings ...
