I really love Michael, Uli and Matthias and I'm amazed with all they guitar playing, very different from each other, no one is better than the other - They're all great and unique! But I always remember Matthias' guitar solo on "Dynamite" from WWL - AMAZING!

theese days ive been studying uli's work a lot and i must say he is really special. matthias was my first guitar hero, but as the days go on my love for uli goes bigger ... this guy is so great ... i hope ill see him one day live

I am not one to get into arguements but Uli is a way better guitar player than Mattias. Have you heard any of Uli's last two albums? The man is on par with Malmsteen! Even look in the Berlin Philharmonic DVD and watch Mattias play "We'll Burn the Sky" it looks as if he struggles through the constant trills that are involved in the lead work of the song. Sorry, but I am an avid Uli fan and I don't think insulting his technicality was a wise choice. Yes, Mattias is a good guitar player and I am not insulting his either. I just saying that Uli is better because of his melodic sense and his technicality.

matthias is so better as uli
he have more techinique more presence on the shows he move , sun , jump , he is a show man. Uli is great but he is past , and maked a good job
now, since 79 , is time Of matthias jabs
about the comparation with malmsteen....please he is so better , he is so speedy but i can´t comapre with uli or matthias
for me matthias is better as malmsteen or uli not just for play . He have other things , and that make a be a great person and gutir player!

Since I have done several tabs over the years and did most of the Sails of Charon tab a long time ago, I have to say it is the hardest Scorpions solo, and to play it like Uli would be tough as in some sections it's a couple of guitars harmonizing.

when i first heard the way uli was shredding i knew i had to learn Sails of CHarron. this song is one of the best guitar tracks of all time. seriously, it is !!!

Who said Yngwie is the best guitarist and an idol?
He's the least guitarist I like and many other share my opinion...he's fast so what Vai is faster....anyone with practice can go fast but the magic is the feelings and Yngwie seems to never care about that point in most of his works which makes him a ****ty guitarist.
As for Uli Roth he's a hell of a guitarist a god. He writes symphonies he;s a hell of a genius but not as a rocker as Matthias.
When you hear Matthias you feel like running wild and screaming but when you hear Uli you just sit and try to enjoy his plays...so everyone has his own style everyone has his own way of pleasing the audience.
And Matthias struggling? I mean come on he wrote and played much more harder solos...and We'll Burn The Sky isn't a hard solo it's a solo of sadness, of nostalgie to the loved one who left you, in other words it's a solo of feelings.

you say malmsteen has no feelings when he plays ? you think he's just only fast and thats all ? you should defenitively check out more of his work if you didn't already. yeah he plays fast and at first it may seem he is doing just that. but more you listen his work, you will see that this guy has a lot of feelings too
