Hey guys! I found a very interessting article in the german magazine (Gitarre & Bass 04/99). It shows their equipment since 1979! It is 100% correct! It is too long, so I let out the effects...

Matthias: 3 Gibson Explorer (1976), 2 x Explorer 90 (1988), Gibson Firebrid custom shop (1984, 2 Humbucker), 2x Fender Strat (1Humbucker), 2 Fender Strat, Fender Telecaster,(1964 candy apple red), Ovation Elite 6&12 string acoustic;
different Soldano SLO and Marshall Amps

Matthias: 4 Fender Strat Matthias Jabs Model (also known as JABOCASTER :-)), 3 Gibson Explorer 90, Ovation Elite 12Strings, Elite 6 Strings, Adamas 12 Srings, Guild 12Strings.

Througout the years, Rudolf used 010 D'Angelic0-sides and Matthias 009 Vinci(until 1989) or D'Addario nickel sides.

Interessting??? I think so. hope this helps you!

Greetz,
Tobi

Thank you very much. It's really interesting. Did your article contain some photos of their pedalboards, guitars or whatever? For the talk box you're right, he used it long before 99 and yes, the list is not complete BUT it's a great start, as you said :)
On 'No one like you' i think he used an harmonizer, and it's not listed. or maybe he overdubbed the track?

thanx again for the info, and have a great new year. rock on

They are Gibson 500T's (in the bridge) They are the hottest pickups that gibson make. In the neck he has a 490T.

How could Rudolf use a JCM800 in 79 ? The first JCM800s were released in 1981, and if i'm not wrong they countinued to use their jmp super leads even in the early 80s ... On 'Super Rock in Japan 1984' video you can see them very well in the background.
i think the guy who wrote was a bit wrong

i don't think so, they are custom-made for the scorps ...

or if they are for sale i wouldn't be amazed if they would be priced between 5000 - 10000 $
