I'm agree. my Explorers kick to Vodoo and Gothic. New Les Pauls, aren't the same thing. White explorers have ebony fingerboard, like goth and Vodoo, but the adjusts are worst in this new models. Old LP kick ass, but new...the woods are worst. these fingerboards...with cheap woods. I'm thinking in buy an old Les Paul custom, that's a jewel. If i have luck, i'll buy a 72 model. I want older, but are very expensive.

Ed Roman has a very intersting reputation. I am not going to badmouth the man, because I don't know him. But I have read countless "Stories" about Ed and his "unique" perspective.

To say that Rudy Schenker (Or even Michael for that matter) do not play authentic Gibsons is like saying Hendrix did not play a strat.

I consider Rudolf Schenker to be THE authority on the Gibson Flying V.
