i understand
yes i´ve more 40 cover songs of differents bands
and neither is the same as scorp!

I agree totally.
I play a lot of covers myself and some solo's you just can't get right (too difficult or too fast that you can't here the actual individual notes, whatever reason).

In that case I prefer writing my own solo, it adds a personal touch to
the song and you can lay down the feeling and the emotion in it and that's indeed 90% of the solo!

And the audience will probably be more positive with you making your own good fitting solo, than a crappy replica.

I always believed that the sails of charon was the most difficult solo of the scorpions but when i saw uli live in thessaloniki last February, I saw it all. The last part of the solo was so f*****g hard that I started to cry from my excitement. I also think that catch your train has a very nice solo, not extremelly hard but very melodic.
