He also had an endorsement deal with Aria Guitars as well. I would like to say he started his endorsement with Dean between 2005 - 2007. In the early 2000's when his wife divorced him he didn't have much money so he had to sell three of his Half Black/Half White Gibson Flying V's. hope some of this info will help you out. Heres a issue of Guitar World from a few years ago featuring an article and interview with Michael, and some other info and pictures you may find helpful. enjoy!

Hi! I'm wondering why Vinne Moore and Michael Schenker both have something to do with Mike Varney and Shrapnel records. According to www.sing365.com he is an internet music scam artist and allowed to post anything?
And in that case, it doesn't even seem like a cd it sounds like a streamline for my free use!
I read an article Nightwatcher Vinnie More interview and it said that Michael left the band in 2004. That guy Vinnie sure doesn't know what he or they are supposed to be writting or preforming? but he mentions Germany and the fact Uli is not a big influence on him.
I really don't know what's going on, but i'm looking at the site www.longliverock.com where Pete Townshend and a lady named Rachel are taking care of most of their download cd orders and are able to supply and price the music they or fans donate.
I'm just concerned because this Caress of Steel album that I have says that premoters, accountants, record sales are all closely related. Oh, with the top position or president of the company. Said something about "cpa lable finds 'bottom line' and that phrase tells you what you will make for yourself.
They cite President Irwin Steinberg, President of Phongram Inc. Mercury records at that time.
So, you would rather not have a manager than pay a PR man like this. Please look at the longliverock site, Pete had his Eel Pie there, and he's just the type of person that is not going to let anyone screw him over and he's done a really nice job fighting for himself and making a name for the people he's associated with.

I will be buying from that site if it's legitimate.

He walked away from the band and came back. Had a horrible time trying to record Emince Front Single w/0 the 'demon records,' but because of an accident he went back to Roger and or the who, and I don't see why Michael can't do that too - and re record over his own lable (kind of where Eel Pie is at?),
Well, fffff - he got himself the kind of premoting he's going to the superbowl!!!! - Ask who will be retaining the recording rights of that, streamline on Pete's own record lable that download spoke - I bet you.
You need to pick someone and model after them, and remember Pete despised Geffin I think as well, although it's worked for Floyd - I wouldn't talk about that. All i'm saying is you should look how Pete's contracts are written up. I'm sure he would let you if you made an appointment with him. I would send dumb smoe Klaus and Rudolph. Isn't he your favorite band leader??
(Ritchie said yes!)

Just gather all your stuff Michael, songs you've wrote with UFO or recently that you want to keep. And explain in a long letter what Shrapnel has done to you - and shove all that stuff at Pete for his email reference or documenting and i'm sure he'll be able to and (glad) to help you as one of his first customers!
I would. He looks like he's got nothing there to do but be bothered; at least you can streamline through Pete for a nominal fee and have Eel eat you up!
At least it worth him having a streamline list for his own account and making will be able to tell you what you are making and what you should have - no matter who's in your band or walked out?
Roger Daltrly in my opionion is in worse shape than you - especially w/o Pete vs. God bless you Roger for taking care of Pete and keeping him part of your family.

In my kids are alright video they go to John's home and get the gold albums off the wall and just shoot them outside with some gun they kept in a guitar case - and that's the best damn song and segment of the video. I sure love it - who cares what that crap is it's streamline now... whooopssss! :) :(

On that website they want you to upload a video for the ones that you download to keep the music exchange even. And that's a pretty cool thing, if I was a band - I would love to trade all my stuff with Pete to keep my account alive.
Or you can give him money to keep the site maintained and keep your points up that way. I bet he's got some really great stuff - darn near all of it by now???

Well if he is sponsored by Dean Guitars, it would mean that Micheal was getting free guitars, then he could put away his Gibsons. but thanks for the update.

no problem Ruz, he had to sell his Gibson's after his wife divorced he fell on some hard times back in the early 2000's but he's back on his feet and still touring with Michael Schenker Group, he also has made several guest appearences with the Scorpions like I think back at Wacken Open Air back around 2006

Gibson would've made him a Signature Model; but he was prolly not as huge or well known to make a model in his name. There were alot of Big named Guitar Players; who were also fighting for fame; during his reign in UFO, and Scorpion days. And if Gibson woulda done that, they woulda had to make different Sig Guitars for all the big name guitarists, Page, Slash (which they did). ect, ect, Pat Travers, Moore, ect, ect.

I found this in a forum dedicated to Flying V's this is what someone had posted,Michael was asked in an interview a few years ago why he didn't have a Gibson Signature guitar and his reply was: "They've never asked me. I guess since I'm always playing them everywhere (Gibson V's), they didn't think it was necessary." probably true he played them so much anyways and the Half Black/ Half White V was his signature guitar anyways that he didn't really need the endorsement. They had signatures for Rudolf and Matthias who helped design the Explorer 90. Yeah Marshall's seem to be that way everyone uses them
