The copyright laws on china are a shame. They copy guitars and put the true brand name on the heastocks. Beware of those *** on Ebay.
A pupil mine got this summer a chinese crap, and he tought that he got a white Les Paul Custom. It wasn't cheap, really. Some of those *** are sold at ridiculous prices, but charged by overpriced shipping costs. Mainly, all of them are located in Asia, and the sellers has an awful english (worst than mine even).
Well, I saw my pupil guitar a few hours ago and hwhen he shown me the guitar out of the case, i said...strange..and when i played it, i tougt: this is not a Gibson, and observed some details on the neck, headstock, pickups and circuits, and i'm sure that is a 100% fake. Altought, plugged sound like crap, and i'm angry like if the piece of crap were bought by me. That's defraud, and is a delictive behaviour. I've said to him that the next Monday, he may have to talk with the seller, and get some legal help, a lawyer or Consumption office if the things goes bad. A part of me says that the best is to punch to the seller, he deserves it, cuz he's a perfect son of a ***. For now i'll don't post anything about the seller, but if the things goes wrong, i'll do.
Not only Gibson guitars are copied, Grestch or Ibanez (mainly this last) and Fenders are copied.
If you're a beginner on guitars, don't buy a guitar on Ebay that makes u suspect due to the cheap price, or maybe you'll regret about it later. At least my pupil will have help, and can talk with the seller face to face, and i wouldn't like to have a problem with a guy like my pupil, he has hands like hammers

I don't know details about fake Ibanez, cuz i don't like the real Ibanez. But if someone likes em, can post here about those fakes.
I want to ruin the bussiness to bastards like those fake manufacturers.
