Why Was The Website Down?

Unread postby Dave W » December 5th, 2004, 6:42 pm

May I ask one of the moderators as to why the website was down from Wednesday last week, just as the tour dates were announced on both the Scorps and Priest websites? Thanks!

Hi Theiank.

Wellcome in the forum.
Enjoy it.
I hope, You all British fans will have some tourdates soon.

Anyway, I also thought, that maybe the webpage was down because of infoupdating.
Maybe There were some technical problems that Wolfgang had to salv.

The Server has been hijacked by Hackers.
I had to reinstall the Server.

Huhh, I haven't read this old topic since writting my post here, so I just have read your post Wolfgang.
Its a really wery rude thing that such as big anymals hackers haven't got better things in life than to play their crazy games.
I totaly can imagine, that such a famous and popular rockband's webpage as the Scorps is a good target for hackers.

So, thank you for your work Wolfgang, my all respects is yours.
