HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE SITE

Unread postby Sheryl » August 30th, 2004, 5:01 pm

My problem is this--I can't seem to log into the site. When I make a post i can log in long enough to post, but once I'm done and click "post reply", I'm logged back out again. Anyone have any clues as to why this happens? I can't get into my pm's or anything else that requires log-in.

Sheryl
I'm sorry to hear you are having this problem. I have tried to log in and out a few times this morning to see if I have the same problem but it seems to be working fine for me. Are you having this problem with the Scorpions Site only or all sites you go to that require log in? Maybe re-booting your system would help?

Thanks Sherry and Wolfgang. It's only happening with this site. I use a browser called Flashpeak Slimbrowser and have been for 2 years and never had a problem with it. I've also tried with the aol browser and IE 6.0 and get the same thing happening.

Hmmmmm that is very odd. Wolfgang ... can you help Sheryl out with this one? I have no idea. Unless it's in your security settings somewhere since they added the merchandise section

First of all, it doesn´t have to do with the merchandise section.
I have installed Internet Explorer 6 and Netscape 7.1. I also do have a Firewall and Norton Internet Security 2004 and i don´t have any problems.
Maybe you configured some security settings on your PC?

I was thinking that very same thing, that maybe one of know-it-all teen-agers in my house reset something inadvertently. I think I'll have to have one of the older sons take a look at it.

Thanks for your help

I had the same type of logging in problems. Boy it was hell. :)My solution was to disable ZA Firewall program. And some areas of this great site required me to allow all session cookies aswell.. In my Internet explorer security settings under Privacy options. Been a member for 2 years and NOW iam able to participate in fourms etc..
