Trying to update my e-mail addy, but I cant

I have deleted my old e-mail address, so I tried updating my account, and I have to enter my current password, so I enter it, and I get the error message saying it doesnt match. so to make sure I was using the correct password, I logged out, and signed back in using that password, and it logged me in with no problem. so I cant update my e-mail address
