Wolfgang, now it's about search.. It doesn't work correct.
For example today I tried to find one football topic. I only remmebered that it was about football and in everything else. So: I've typed: football, everything else, search for any of the word.. Search gave me some results but there was no topic I was searching for... The only way was to find it to sort topics by the quantity of posts.
Well, u know I usually find the topics on re-opened subjects and lots of forum members can prove that I'm one of those who prefer to add to one of the old topics when open new one..
Also once I tried to find the topic when I knew the exact name of it and even the author..but search didn't give me results..
And as I see it touches topics from old forum. When u find it other way (like sorting by) and post there then u can find it using search.

Just for example, Wolfgang, try by urself. I did a topic in everything else called FOSCAR (about awards to forummembers). If u type it in search it won't give u results.

I'm afraid that most of the topics from old forum r unuseful now coz it'll be impossible to find em all the same...

Yes, I tried use the search option but it doesn't work.
I also tried finding topics that has disappeared misteriously, and these topics just could comeback to the topic list finding them using the option "Search user’s posts" by the way I found the topic and posting there it could comeback to the topic's list
Anyway, the html code is flooding all of oldest topics, mainly if there are a lot of quotes, and poor greek topics, they looses all their posts because the greek characters are disconfigured

I used this option for to search a topic in General Discussion,but I find first the most recent topics until old topics.And the type of font don't help very much.Some letters are disconfigured.
