Asunción: If Paraguayan citizens do not agree about something, they "Take to the streets"! This has been happening quite a lot recently. Now this penchant for public protest has grown to include the entertainment industry, including music concerts, something altogether new. Following the cancellation of the Scorpions concert on the 18th of September, due to the strongest storms in years resulting in serious safety issues for the band, crew and the public, the 16,000 strong audience, who had been admitted to the grounds of the Jockey Club, demanded, Via "Facebook", that the Scorpions return to play the concert at a later date. On the 29th of September the fans will demonstrate at the Plaza de la Democracia showing their disapointment at the cancellation of the show and their desire to have the concert rescheduled later . Though there is little hope of this gesture resulting in a favourable result. The Scorpions have now returned to Germany after the conclusion of the "Final Sting Tour" South America.... The organiser of the Paraguay show, "Manta Productions" will refund the entrance fees as of next wednesday.
